This has been great so far for my 6 and 9 year olds and I to work through. We have been doing it as a group but I look forward to everyone doing their study individually and then coming together just to discuss!
We've been looking for a Bible game for a long time now. In my video review below, I share the reaction from myself and the kids and also all the ins and outs of playing the game. We love it. Oh! The quality of the game is top notch. :-)
My sister and I are in our 2nd Not Consumed Bible Study. We are working with adults - some of whom have learning disabilities. We're using the NLT Bible version because it is easier for them to understand. We do the Bible lesson WITH them...and Not Consumed should be proud because our age ranges from mid-40's to late 70's...and we're still learning things and able to discuss what do we need to work on to become more compliant with Jesus's desires of us!
These Bible studies are great for the various "kid" ages...but folks - they are SO worth it for even us older people. They're simple to do, daily time doesn't take that long and they are helping us become more like what Jesus wants us to be. Where did we start...Fear Not and we're now halfway through Making Lemonade. We've purchased more of the books for future use.
Thank you for putting them together Not Consumed! You're a blessing .
Our family has been working thru this study on prayer for the last 2 weeks. It has been so fruitful and thought-provoking. Family discussions have been honest and open. So grateful we invested in this for our family devotions!
My son completed Calculus 1, but won’t have time to complete Calculus 2 before the end of this year (his Senior Year). I wanted him to have a math program this year, but also wanted him to have a good idea of what to expect when he is out on his own. This curriculum has been amazing so far and I truly believe every high schooler needs to take this before heading out on their own!
Last year my daughter read and wrote a little on her own for reading time in our homeschool. This year as she is a third grader, I was looking for something a little more organized for her to work on. This has been a great addition. It has also really opened up the world of non-fiction for her, as she mainly read fictional books. We had to find non-fiction books on things she was interested in to fill in the non-fiction sections. She is loving it! I am as well. It is something I can guide her on, but allow her to do independently. It also gives her a chance to think a little more about what she is reading. I plan to buy these for the next several years for her as well.
Easy to keep in a Bible. Easy to pull out and get a better understanding while studying. Good for use in a homeschooling home.
These bookmarks have been great for my elementary age children. They like having the visual reminder in the Bible’s and other devotional books. Very sturdy, even when toddler gets a hold of it.
Excellent tool for Bible study. It is compact, easily readable, and folds away into a Bible .
I love this magnet. We keep it on the fridge and try to use it whenever needed and with 3 boys it’s often. I love that it has verses for both the one who was unkind, and the receiver of the unkindness.
Always a lovely reminder for myself, too.
This prayer journal is lovely. I have looked at several prayer journals and this is the only one I’ve purchased that I use each section of, fully. I love that it helps guide my prayers, includes a Bible reading plan, tips and examples on turning scripture into personalized prayers. The stickers are a fun bonus!
Love these cards! They are sturdy, and pretty to have sitting in our dining room where we do school. We use these to help guide our prayers, and also for memorizing verses. I don’t plan to use them as postcards but I love that they can easily be used in that way.
We just got these books and they fit in my Bible cover. My 4yr old and 7yr used them last Sunday during service and love the activities in them. Thanks for a great quiet activity for our girls!
Helped me clarify a clear WHY I'm homeschooling/MY philosophy of education written to help me remember on hard days, to plan my calendar and curriculum, and throughout year Keeps me recording and remembering what matters most- my love and memories of my family members! Ps I use one of the kid slots for "what I love about you" for my husband too ;).
My one suggestion would be to consolidate and shorten homeschool planning boot camp videos because I still only got through two videos, and I'm guessing that's common for busy moms with my distractible personality. I HIGHLY recommend this to others!
I absolutely loved the sibling Bible study "My Brother's Keeper." Being in the Word each school day together, was such a sweet time, I didn't want it to end! We ended up buying more studies and can't wait to start them . I have a 4, 6 and 10 year old and we were able to sit together and do it. Although I found it best when I did the Parent Guide ahead of time, so I knew what was coming and was able to help the younger two when they needed it. Highly recommend!
