We're a family on a mission.

We have the privilege of serving families like you because God is so gracious to us. He has put all of the pieces together and gives us the strength we need to do what we are called to do each day.

Our Story

Helping kids and families grow in faith

Have you ever looked back to see that God has carefully put together all the pieces in your life?

Not Consumed Ministries was founded in 2012 by Kimberly Sorgius Jones during a season when God was shaping both her family and the work that would become this ministry. Kim’s background as a classroom teacher and more than 22 years of homeschooling are woven into everything we create.

Kim saw the need for resources that helped kids know God’s Word so they could trust Him, even in the middle of life’s challenges. In a season that demanded simplicity, she created interactive, minimal-prep tools that weave Scripture through learning—helping families grow in faith without being consumed by circumstances.

That conviction still drives everything we create at Not Consumed.

Theology

Gospel-centered. Bible-dependent. Family-centric.

Our mission is to help families GROW in faith so they can live #NotConsumed by life. We're here to support your family with practical, easy-to-use resources for meaningful time in God's Word together.

What We Believe

Meet the Team

The Not Consumed team exists for one purpose: to help your family grow in faith so you can live #NotConsumed. We are not just curriculum designers sitting in an office somewhere. We are homeschool parents who have walked this road ourselves, with more than 220 years of combined homeschooling experience across our team. Every member of our leadership team has spent more than two decades teaching, guiding, and learning right alongside their own children.

That experience is paired with deep training in the work we do. Our team includes advanced degrees in education, curriculum design, early childhood, and counseling, along with backgrounds in English literature, communications, art, music, business, and more. But what matters most to us is using all of that to serve families well.

Every Bible study, family resource, and homeschool curriculum we create is rooted in Scripture and made to be practical, clear, and easy to use, because we know your days are already full.

We believe some of the best learning happens when families gather around God’s Word together. That is why we create resources that work across ages and stages, helping families learn the same truth together in a way that feels meaningful, approachable, and real.

Every Kid Can Understand the Bible

We help families GROW in faith so they can live #NotConsumed.

Our mission is to get kids into God’s Word for themselves. We break theology down, without watering it down, using homeschool curriculum, Bible studies, and hands-on learning tools to help kids understand Scripture and grow in faith.
