Here at Not Consumed Ministries, our mission is to
help families GROW in faith so they can live #NotConsumed by life. Our goal is to come alongside you with resources that equip your family for
time together in God's Word.

First, I want to applaud you for asking this question! It's crucial that you KNOW what you are giving your kids and that you guard your family against false teaching.
The bulk of the products written here at Not Consumed are written by me, Kim Sorgius. You can read my personal testimony here.
I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.
Simply put, I believe the Bible is 100% true as inspired by God.
I'm often asked about the denomination I belong to. I'm not a big fan of denomination lines and prefer to stick with a literal translation of the Bible as my main source for doctrine. But if you must put me in a box (haha) I am most closely aligned with a reformed theology.
Our Bible studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible on their own. We want kids in the Bible! Of course, this means that you can use the translation (or version) of your choice.
I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles, but special attention has been given to make sure kids can answer questions regardless of the translation they are using.
