What Matters Most Doesn't Always Get the Most Attention
Christmas is full of wonderful blessings! There are gifts to tie up in red bows, traditions your family loves, a calendar full of celebration, school to wrap up before the break, and people to hug that you haven't seen in a whole year.
The problem is that all of the Christmas excitement has a way of capturing every drop of your attention. And the 25 days that you meant to spend pointing your children to Jesus and why He came? They disappear from your calendar just like those little advent chocolates.
Until suddenly, it's Christmas morning.
Maybe you've thought to yourself, "Next year I'll do a better job of keeping Jesus at the center." But you don't need to fit more in. You need something simple enough to keep your family's focus on Him for the entire season while still enjoying all of the Christmas fun.
You Want Your Kids to Focus on Jesus, Even When the Holidays Get Busy
You love the traditions your family looks forward to every year. You also want your kids to understand more about the Savior you're celebrating. The story of the baby in the manger is memorable and worth retelling. But you know there's so much more for them to discover about who Jesus is and why He came.
One more elaborate glitter craft or hour-long study is too much to add to an already crowded December. You want a simple way to open God's Word with your kids, keep going deeper together, and reach Christmas knowing Jesus didn't get lost in everything else.
With a Christmas Bible study, your family can:
Keep Jesus at the center without taking the joy out of Christmas traditions.
Take your kids beyond the manger story they already know and show them there’s still more to discover.
Get your kids opening their own Bibles and discovering what God says for themselves.
Reach Christmas morning knowing your kids understand more about the Savior they’re celebrating.
Give kids, from four years old to teens, a way to learn right alongside the family.
Deep Enough to Matter. Simple Enough for December.
One mom described these studies as “deep but not difficult.” Another said her kids remind her when it's time to do Bible study. And parents repeatedly tell us they're learning right alongside their children.
Thousands of families make these Not Consumed Bible studies part of their Christmas every year. The studies make it simple to learn about Jesus together all season long. Each day in December, your kids get to know more about the Savior they're celebrating.
Why you'll love it:
- These studies are truly open-and-go, physical books arrive with no printing, gathering supplies, or lesson prep.
- Each lesson takes about 10 to 15 minutes, so it's easy to keep going even when December gets busy.
- Three age levels keep your whole family learning together, plus a Parent Guide to help you lead the conversation.
- Your kids open their own Bibles and look up the Scripture for themselves.
- Kids use festive stickers to build a scene, giving them a fun way to mark their progress toward Christmas.
What Exactly Are the Christmas Bible Studies?
Each one is a 25-day family Bible study for December. Every kid gets their own book at their own level, the whole family lands on the same key truth each day, and a lesson takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Three different studies, three different paths through the Christmas story. You choose one for this year.
The levels: Primary (ages 4 to 7), Junior (8 to 12), and Youth (13 and up), plus a Parent Guide for you to lead the conversation.
How a Daily Lesson Works:
Open the book: No prep, nothing to print, nothing to gather. The day's lesson is short and ready.
Look it up: The verses aren't printed inside. Each lesson sends your kids to their own Bible, any translation, to read God's Word for themselves.
Come back together: Everyone met the same truth that day at their own level. So the shared conversation is on topic and even younger kids have something to share.
The result? Your kids spend December in Scripture, and you didn't complicate your calendar to get there.

Your Kids Know the Christmas Story. But Do They Know Why It Matters?
Your kids may be able to tell you exactly where baby Jesus was placed to sleep and what the shepherds saw that night. They can likely sing the familiar carols by heart. They may be able to recite much of Luke chapter 2.
But knowing the Christmas story isn't the same as understanding what it means.
Understanding who Jesus is, why He came, and how His birth fits into God's plan takes them deeper than the familiar details of the story. There is so much more for your kids to discover in the Christmas story they've heard year after year.
This year, don't just retell the story. Help them discover why we celebrate our Savior in the first place.
Here's What Christmas 2026 Looks Like:
Imagine your kids asking, “Is it time for Bible study yet?” because they actually want to know more of Jesus' story.
Picture them singing a familiar Christmas carol and understanding the words in a way they didn't before. Or looking at the nativity and remembering that God's plan for Jesus began long before Bethlehem. Maybe you'll even have a few “I never knew that!” moments of your own along the way.
Then Christmas morning arrives.
The presents are still there. The stockings are full. You're still enjoying the traditions your family loves. But this time, you don't have to wonder where the month went or wish you'd made more time for what mattered most. Your kids are celebrating with a deeper understanding of the Savior at the center of it all.
That's the Christmas you've been wanting to give them.
Questions About Our Christmas Studies
-
Which Christmas Bible study should I choose for my family?
Any of them. All three cover different parts of Jesus' story, so many families pick one this year and a different one next year. It's the same tradition with new discoveries. If you want a starting point: choose Uncovering Mercies at the Manger for the big picture of God's plan, Gifts at the Manger to look beyond the presents under the tree, or Adoration at the Manger if your family loves Christmas music.
-
Which age level should I order for each of my kids?
Each Christmas Bible study comes in three age levels and a parent guide:
- Primary: Ages 4–7
- Junior: Ages 8–12
- Youth: Ages 13+
- Parent Guide: To lead the conversation
Choose one book for each child at their level: Primary for ages 4–7, Junior for ages 8–12, or Youth for ages 13 and up. Primary students complete the study with a parent, while Junior and Youth students work more independently. Your child will also need a Bible in any translation. Add the Parent Guide for an at-a-glance look at what each child is learning and simple questions to guide your family discussion.
-
What do I need to use the study?
Each child needs their own study, a printed book shipped right to you, and a Bible in any translation. That's it. There are no lessons to prepare, pages to print, or supplies to gather. Just open the book and begin. You can also add the coordinating cards, magnets, or ornaments if you'd like to bring what your kids are learning into the rest of your Christmas celebration.
