Enjoy using this with our family. The Scripture references focus us on God's Word as It propels us to deeper conversations.
These are not only great conversation starters! Our 6 yo, who just learned to read, has the responsibility of looking up the verse before we sit down for breakfast. It gives her the opportunity to learn where the different verses can be found. She also reads the verse to get us started. After the discussion, my husband then uses the topic we discussed to pray with intention about how we can apply the principle to our lives. It has helped us get out of the dry "thank you for this food, please help us today" prayer routine.
My family loves to use this book to add some deep questions into our conversations. Really adds to the dinner time connection. Very sturdy and colorful book.
My family and I love these discussion questions! It gets us thinking and talking, and then we get to see what God says. We keep them on our kitchen table and answer a question almost daily, usually at dinner when we are all sitting down together.
I love this resource! I love that it sits on the desk and reminds me to get into the word with my children. We have had great discussions about each topic so far. And the conversations can grow with them so we will use this for years to come!
One a day keeps you focused on God and connected with your family throughout the year. Simple yet impactful! I recommend for ever household to have and use one!
I like this as a tool to keep talking about God and His word in a simple way. It is a short length for young kiddos. Very good option for meal times. I haven’t got overly far on it, but I believe there have been several verses where I was a little confused or surprised by verse choice for question topic. But no matter, I give high praise and thankful for a way to help keep my kids thinking on God.
