Teach your kids the importance of obedience by laying the right foundation: God's Word. Obey is a 4-week Bible study for kids ages 4+ focused on getting to the heart of the matter.
Journey through scripture and learn about people who struggled with obedience in this kid's Bible study that includes HOW, WHY, and WHEN we should obey. Children will be challenged to seek answers in the Bible for the number one issue in their lives: obedience.
Are you teaching a class or group? Our Bible studies and products are designed for single-family use only. However, we do offer this site license for homeschool groups, churches, and any other classes with multiple families.
This license gives you a DIGITAL copy of the product and the rights to print it as needed for your group of up to 25 members. If you have more families in your group, please contact us so we can help with a solution that meets your needs.
Nothing will be mailed to you as this is a digital product.
Here's What You'll Love
Are you tired of "because I said so" as your only line of defense for getting your children to obey? Do you wish they would understand the importance of obedience?
What if I told you that you can teach your kids to actually WANT to obey?
YOU CAN. It's not some far-fetched parenting dream. Building a foundation of biblical truth is the way to help your children want to obey for the right reasons.
This study will help you build a biblical foundation for the importance of obedience, without having to do all of the work and research yourself. You know, because you've got goldfish to clean out of the carpet and LEGOs to fish out of the toilet, right? Haha. Let's get started today!
Our Bible studies are available in 3 age levels to fit the needs of your specific class or group. Each lesson has a consistent key truth, key Scripture, and central theme no matter what age level the kids are working in.
Primary Level (ages 4-7)
Junior Level (ages 8-12)
Parent Guide
Our parent guide is the perfect addition to help you easily facilitate family Bible study or group learning. Each day, you will progress through the same main ideas and key passages the kids will be studying.
Plus, we've added parent tips along the way to help you lead the discussion.
Having the whole group thinking on the same key truths of Scripture will create a more natural environment to talk about the Lord. We know you'll love it!
What version of the Bible do you use?
I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.
What do you believe?
I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.
What age level should I buy?
This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please
check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!
How many copies should I buy?
If you are buying digital, you only need one copy of each age level you will be using. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc) you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on each product's page.
If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word. Please check out this video for more explanation on why this is so important!
How long are your studies?
Each Bible study is a slightly different length ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.
