All Around Town is an open-and-go Pre-K curriculum built around 20 engaging field trips that bring learning to life. As your child explores places like the library, post office, farm, and fire station, they'll build early literacy and math skills while discovering more about the world God created.
Designed for busy homeschool families, All Around Town combines hands-on activities, simple lessons, and real-world experiences into a plan that's easy to follow and fun to use. With minimal prep and plenty of opportunities for exploration, you can spend less time planning and more time learning together.
One chance to shape how your child first experiences learning - whether it feels like wonder or work, whether they see God in the library and the fire station or only in Sunday school. All Around Town and our Pre-K Bundle was built for exactly this moment: to give you a clear, beautiful plan that works in real life, with a pre-schooler, on the days when nothing goes perfectly.
Most Pre-K programs focus on isolated skills. Children learn letters, numbers, shapes, and colors, but are often disconnected from the world around them.
All Around Town takes a different approach.
Each unit is built around a real place your child can visit and explore. As they learn about libraries, farms, post offices, fire stations, and more, they'll build foundational academic skills while making meaningful connections to everyday life.
The result is a Pre-K experience that feels less like checking boxes and more like discovering the world together.
All Around Town is a pre-kindergarten curriculum that helps young learners explore and understand their local community through guided field trips, hands-on activities, and Scripture.
This open-and-go curriculum turns everyday places like the post office, library, grocery store, and park into purposeful learning experiences.
Open-and-go Pre-K curriculum, with 20 guided field trips and minimal parent prep, that turns everyday community locations into purposeful learning moments.
Clear structure and focused practice in colors, shapes, and numbers, all while helping your child build good habits.
Not every curriculum is for every family. All Around Town was designed for a particular kind of homeschool mom, and if this is you, it's going to feel like it was made exactly for you.
You want your child's first year of learning to be genuinely good - not just checked off. You care that their education is anchored in Scripture, not as an add-on, but as the foundation. You believe that how your child learns to see the world in these early years shapes how they'll see it for the rest of their life.
At the same time, you don't have three hours of prep time. You don't have a laminator and a color-coded binder system. You have a four-year-old, probably a baby or a toddler somewhere nearby, a dozen things on your plate, and a genuine desire to do this well without burning out by February.
If that's you, then this curriculum was built for you. By people who have been exactly where you are.
USE ENVIRONMENTAL PRINT - recognize vocabulary through real-world context
COUNT AND SORT - not abstractly, but through things they've touched and seen and remember
ORGANIZE THEIR LEARNING - using their planner to build the habit of knowing what comes next and taking pride in completing it
TALK ABOUT GOD - naturally, in everyday places, because that's been woven into every unit all year long
But more than any individual skill - more than any checklist item - your child will finish this year with something that can't be measured on a readiness assessment:
They will know that learning is good, the world is interesting, God made it all on purpose, and that they are capable of understanding it.
That's what you're building this year. And it starts the moment you open the box.
Every unit includes built-in alternatives. If the post office is too far, if nap schedules make timing impossible, if life just happened - the learning continues. The curriculum was designed for real families with real constraints, not ideal conditions.
This curriculum was designed by three team leaders with Master's degrees in Curriculum and Instructional Design and developed over 18 months. It addresses every major domain of Pre-K readiness: early literacy, numeracy, fine motor skills, social awareness, observation, and vocabulary. It is a complete year of structured early learning, but it's not intended to be academically rigorous. It's intended to lay a solid foundation for early learning while helping your child actually enjoy the process. It's developmentally appropriate for young children, focusing on developing key skills instead of drilling boring facts.
Yes - and this was a specific design priority. Lessons are 15–20 minutes. Content is delivered through physical activities, games, movement, stickers, and real-world experiences. The curriculum is built for the way a preschool brain actually works: short, rich, connected to something real.
One curriculum set per child is recommended so each child can fully participate in the activities and complete the planner. If you have two preschool-age children close in age, one set per child is the right call.
All Around Town provides references rather than printed verses, so your family reads Scripture in the translation you already love and trust. Every unit's biblical worldview connection is a conversation starter, not a separate insert.
