FAQ

There is no scripture written out in our studies, only references. When it comes to growing faith, it's crucial that kids look up passages in the Bible for themselves and our studies are written to help them do that!

We study and write using ESV, as well as a variety of translations. Special attention has been given to make sure kids can answer questions regardless of the translation they are using.

We believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth. Read more here.

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

You'll want to purchase one copy per child at their specific age level. This will enable children to study at their level and record their own drawings and responses to the Word.

We highly encourage you to make sure that each child can participate by having their own book on their own level. You can learn more about why in this video.

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

Very helpful

I love how the studies are in the order of what to why to how, which helps kids understand the root issues instead of simply a list of to-dos.

This ISN'T just for kids!

My sister and I are in our 2nd Not Consumed Bible Study. We are working with adults - some of whom have learning disabilities. We're using the NLT Bible version because it is easier for them to understand. We do the Bible lesson WITH them...and Not Consumed should be proud because our age ranges from mid-40's to late 70's...and we're still learning things and able to discuss what do we need to work on to become more compliant with Jesus's desires of us!

These Bible studies are great for the various "kid" ages...but folks - they are SO worth it for even us older people. They're simple to do, daily time doesn't take that long and they are helping us become more like what Jesus wants us to be. Where did we start...Fear Not and we're now halfway through Making Lemonade. We've purchased more of the books for future use.

Thank you for putting them together Not Consumed! You're a blessing .

Awesome study

Bought this and loved it, easy to ready my 9 year old did this as is after school reading. And we so excited everyday to do it with me, it’s really helped him to get in to the word of God and I love that. We are a few days late starting the next one but lemonade is waiting to be made.

Great for Group Studies Too!

This is the second year in a row that we have used one of your Bible study books for our 6-week summer day camp program at our church and they both have been perfect. We teach home skills (cooking & sewing, manners, etc.) along with a Bible study to girls ages 10 and up. This year we're teaching "Do Right" and last year we taught "Fruit of the Tongue". I can't say enough good things about both of these studies. They were so timely for the issues young girls face in today's world.

Its transformed my sons thoughts on sin

My 3 year old sin is just beginning to learn between right and wrong. As well as why he should obey mommy and daddy. He asks a thousand "why" questions daily. This has really helped show him what sin is and why we should do it but also how amazing Jesus is for taking that sin. Its also been super beneficial for My husband and I as well. We shared with our 3 year old the sins we struggle with (losing a temper, being unkind, and not listening) and it's helped him realize that it's not just him that is doing it "wrong." That kid will call us out in a second if we lose a temper with each other or start to get frustrated. "Mommy it's ok, you need to take some deep breaths" and it has been a blessing to me as a Mother to see myself through his eyes and how I can work on my own sins.

Great Armor of God Study!

This is a great study to review the armor of God and why it is important to do right besides "because I said so" or "God says we should". Kim breaks it down each idea into easily understand parts and has relatable short stories to go with it!
