The Send the Light Activity Book is a companion resource designed to reinforce what younger children are learning in the Send the Light flipbook.

Created for ages 5-8, the activity book provides hands-on pages that help children stay focused on the day’s lesson while the family studies together.

With Send the Light, your family will:

Learn where missionaries went, what was happening in the world at the time, and how teaching the Bible shaped specific decisions and real outcomes.

Work through lessons that are brief and discussion-focused, making it easy to gather around one resource and count this time as part of your homeschool day, not an extra activity to fit in later.

Complete a Family Mission Challenge at the end of each missionary study. The challenge is a simple, practical activity that connects what they’ve read to everyday life by encouraging them to serve together and notice needs around them.

About this Resource

Send the Light is a family curriculum that brings Bible, history, and geography together through the lives of missionaries. Built for family-style study, this stand-up flipbook guides families through short, daily lessons that require minimal parent preparation and work naturally across multiple ages.

Each lesson is concise and discussion-focused, making it easy to use during your morning basket time as part of your homeschool day rather than an extra subject to manage.

FAQs

  • What are the credentials of the Not Consumed team?

The Not Consumed team exists for one purpose: to help your family grow in faith so you can live #NotConsumed. We are homeschool parents with over 220 years of combined homeschooling experience, advanced degrees in education and curriculum design, and a deep love for serving families well. Every Bible study, family resource, and homeschool curriculum we create is anchored in Scripture and made to be practical, clear, and easy to use, because we know your days are already full.

We believe the best learning happens when families gather around God's Word together, so we create resources that work across ages and stages to make that time meaningful, approachable, and real.

  • What do you believe?

We are Bible-believing evangelical Christians. It's our mission to create products that handle the Word of God accurately and literally. We aim to get families into the Word for themselves and challenge them to read and think about it carefully rather than relying on the words and ideas of others. We believe all families should be asking about the theology of the resources they use, as nothing is neutral and everything has a worldview. Here is what we believe:

The Bible is God's Word and the final authority for everything we believe and how we live. It is completely true and trustworthy in all that it says, given to us by God down to its very words. There is one God who has always existed as three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God created all things, including human beings, by His own direct act. Salvation is a free and forever-secure gift, received by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus came in human flesh, was born of a virgin, and rose bodily from the grave. He will one day return in person, in His own body, to reign on the earth for a thousand years. This return will be personal, bodily, and premillennial.

  • Is the curriculum accredited?
