Gather your family in a circle or line. The first player takes a card from the box, reads the prompt aloud, and names something related to the prompt.
The next player must quickly name something different that fits the same prompt. Play continues around the circle.
If a player hesitates or repeats an answer, they are out for that round. The last player remaining gets to keep the card and starts the next round.
Play as many rounds as you like! The player with the most cards at the end of the game wins!

Uplifting & Perfect for Road Trips

We played this on a road trip this past winter. Everyone enjoyed it! My favorite prompt was something that was beautiful. We had to declare the round over after more than 20 minutes of meditating on all the beautiful things God has blessed us with. We'd been having a good drive before we started playing, but this game made it better!

Dinner Fun!

We use Gratitories during dinner. It became a listing game after a few nights. So, we make them now say "I am thankful/grateful for _____ because..." to have their item count. They love the game and beg to play it every evening! I highly recommend!

This game is a great tool for encouraging a thankful attitude. Really enjoyed the detailed categories that make kids (and adults) think of how much we have to be thankful for. This game led to some excellent family conversations.
