Give Them 20 Afternoons With You.

Give your grandchild a Christmas gift you can enjoy together. The All Around Town Adventure Bag gives you twenty places to explore, with games and activities to enjoy at home and a map to remember where you’ve been.

All Around Town turns the everyday places your grandchild already passes—the post office, the library, the grocery store, the park—into 20 guided field trips that make the world make sense. Simple daily activities build the foundations of literacy, math readiness, and social awareness, while every unit helps your child begin to recognize God's hand in the community He placed them in. All Around Town is open-and-go and designed for young learners, so it's meaningful without being forced.

With All Around Town, children will:

Discover the people and places that serve your community through interactive lessons and field trips.

Help kids build early reading, math, and thinking skills through activities connected to the places you visit together.

Put early skills into practice with activities for recognizing colors, drawing shapes, counting, sorting, and making patterns.

Give kids the joy of seeing what they’ve accomplished as they check off activities from your adventures together.

Start conversations about God and His world with a biblical connection included in every outing.

Watch Them Unwrap Your Next Shared Outing.

You love watching your grandchildren open gifts Christmas morning, but what they'll remember years from now is the time together and adventures with you.

A trip to the doughnut shop gives you time to sit over a treat and hear what’s on their mind. At the bakery, you can look at the cakes and let them tell you which one they want for their birthday.

All Around Town gives you a starting point for making the most of your afternoons together. You’ll have twenty places to choose from, with ideas that help you explore, ask questions, and hear what your grandchild has to say.

All Around Town brings together a guide to twenty places in your community and activities your grandchild can enjoy before or after each visit. It all fits inside their own adventure backpack.

They can open the bag on Christmas morning and look through the map with you. Let them pick the place, like the bakery or doughnut shop, and put your first shared adventure on the calendar.

FAQs

  • Is All Around Town open-and-go?

Yes. Most lessons can be started immediately with minimal preparation.

  • How many copies should I purchase?

One curriculum set per child is recommended so each child can complete activities and fully participate.

  • What if we cannot visit every location?

Every unit includes built-in alternatives, so learning continues whether the location is accessible or not. The curriculum is built to work with your real life, not around perfect conditions.

  • What Bible translation is used?

We want kids in the Word for themselves, so we provide references rather than printed verses. Your family uses the translation you already love.

  • How long does the curriculum last?

The 20-unit curriculum covers a full Pre-K year. Most families work through a unit in 15–20 minutes, two to three times a week. A gentle rhythm that fits naturally into life with a young child.

  • What are the credentials of the Not Consumed team?

The Not Consumed team exists for one purpose: to help your family grow in faith so you can live #NotConsumed. We are homeschool parents with over 220 years of combined homeschooling experience, advanced degrees in education and curriculum design, and a deep love for serving families well.  Everything we create is anchored in Scripture. We keep it practical, clear, and easy to use because we know your days are already full. We believe the best learning happens when families gather around God’s Word together. That’s why we create resources for different ages and stages, so everyone can take part.

  • What do you believe?

We are Bible-believing evangelical Christians. It's our mission to create products that handle the Word of God accurately and literally. We aim to get families into the Word for themselves and challenge them to read and think about it carefully rather than relying on the words and ideas of others. We believe all families should be asking about the theology of the resources they use, as nothing is neutral and everything has a worldview. Here is what we believe:

The Bible is God's Word and the final authority for everything we believe and how we live. It is completely true and trustworthy in all that it says, given to us by God down to its very words. There is one God who has always existed as three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God created all things, including human beings, by His own direct act. Salvation is a free and forever-secure gift, received by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus came in human flesh, was born of a virgin, and rose bodily from the grave. He will one day return in person, in His own body, to reign on the earth for a thousand years. This return will be personal, bodily, and premillennial.

  • Is the curriculum accredited?

Though schools can be accredited, there is not an accreditation program for curriculum.
