FAQ

I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.

I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word.

If you are buying digital, you may make as many copies for your own family as needed. It is intended for single-family use only. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on our digital site license page.

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

Great investment!

This is worth the investment into your kiddos spiritual lives. I've already seen some growth in my kids as they work through this study. Additionally, I appreciate how there are different levels for different aged kids. We will be ordering different studies when we are finished with this one!

Excellent Bible study!

This study has been wonderful for our family! My 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son have been in a season of frequently fighting and being unkind to one another. This has helped tremendously for us to be more intentional about the way we treat one another and to look to the word for what it says about sibling conflict resolution. The stories are interesting and engaging for the kids and the questions are age appropriate. Would definitely recommend to others!

Great study for the whole family!

If your kids are struggling with WHY we are made to and commanded to love one another (especially their brothers!) this is an excellent place to start.

Great! A must four siblings

I did this with my 6 year old who was not being very nice to his 2 year old brother. I regularly went over things we learned in this study. A few short months later, it has helped change my older childs attitude and behavior towards God younger sibling. We will do this again when my 2 and 1 year old are old enough.

Wonderful Relationship Builder!

I love watching my 8 year old grab his Bible and do his booklet each morning for this study, it is refreshing to have a study that helps them cultivate doing it on their own! Everyone does their independent studies in the morning and then in the evening we discuss as a family. It is sweet to see them connect the dots, take inventor of their own behaviors and apologize when necessary. I must admit this study has so challenged me as a sibling!

These studies seem very well thought out and beautifully written, the only issue I have is I wish the parent guide showed exactly what the kids’ questions are. Other than that it’s phenomenal!

Cannot wait to dive into the others that I’ve purchased!

Fantastic!

I am about halfway through it with my kids right now and we have loved it! I am usually hesitant about devotionals not knowing what opinions, information or versions of the bible are in them. But I have not had any issues with this! I was so impressed that I actually immediately placed another order for other devotions . The content is fantastic. As an adult who has been in church just about my whole life, I am learning through this and having "Ahhaa" moments myself. Plus, this is such a great resource for my children! I love that it doesnt give you the scripture, you have to look it up yourself. And I love the questions and perspectives that are brought about. I would highly recommend this to anyone! Not to mention the information at the beginning of the parent book was like it was written for me! I felt like, "This lady gets me, she understands". Oh one more thing, I absolutely love that you can purchase the devotionals on each kids level and still have the same discussion time with them becuase its still the same content! I think the devotions may have been designed for homeschool families with the intention of doing them in the morning and discussing later that day as a family. That doesnt work for my family, because we have to get very early for the kids to catch the bus. So we do our devotions in the evenings after school and then discuss in the mornings at the bus stop and it works great for us!
