Becoming a Servant Bible Study (Digital Site License)
Does it take several repetitions of "Pick up your toys" to get your kids to clean up? Or is there fighting all over your house because everyone wants their own way and no one wants to take turns? Maybe your kids will do chores when asked but don't take initiative if left unprompted. If any of those sound familiar to you, there may be a lack of servant-heartedness in your home!
Jesus calls us to put others above ourselves and to work hard with what we've been given. In ourBecoming a ServantBible study, we learn how selfish we really are as fallen humans. We look at Jesus' example of servant leadership, what spiritual gifts are, and how to use those gifts to serve others. We pray that after completing this Bible study on serving, you and your children will be motivated and empowered to use your gifts for God's glory and place the needs of others before your own!

Why You'll Love This Bible Study
The message our kids hear all around them in this world is that they should always put themselves first, even if that means trampling down others to get what they want. Yet the Bible tells us that in order to be great, we must first become servants.
Becoming a Servant will show you the humble, others-focused attitude of Jesus as He came to earth to die for us, had compassion for the helpless, and washed His disciples' feet. Then you will see how following His example of serving will change our lives!

What version of the Bible do you use?
I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.
What do you believe?
I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.
What age level should I buy?
This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please
check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!
How many copies should I buy?
If you are buying digital, you only need one copy of each age level you will be using. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on each product's page.
If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word. Please
check out this video for more explanation on why this is so important!
How long are your studies?
Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.
