The
Sibling Challenge Journal is the perfect tool to help your kids learn to love their siblings and intentionally build healthy relationships.
We all know sibling relationships are hard. Anytime we live closely with someone our own desires, opinions, and ideas will cause friction in that relationship. But we can't give up! With God's help, we can use tools like this one to help us love well.

HOW TO USE THE SIBLING CHALLENGE JOURNAL
The first step in helping siblings get along is to go through the Bible as a family and learn what God has to say about sibling love. If you haven't had a chance to do that yet, please check out My Brother's Keeper first. It's an easy-to-use Bible study that will make the process simple and fun!
Once you've finished our sibling Bible study, it's time to put what you learned into practice. That's where the Sibling Challenge Journal comes in. You'll review your jobs as a sibling, journal to resolve conflict, meditate on helpful verses, and challenge yourself each week.
This is one of our family's favorite ways to grow sibling relationships!
JOURNAL SECTIONS
1.My Job as a Sibling is a review of your job and will serve as helpful information to fall back on when you need reminders. Do this section first before doing any of the other pages in this book.
2. Sibling Scripture is a collection of the best Bible verses for helping you become a better sibling. These are meant to be colored as you meditate on and memorize them. Do one of these pages per week once you start the sibling challenge to help you stay focused.
4. Sibling Challenge is the part of this book that will help you grow the most. After you have completed section 1, go ahead and begin working on the challenge. Each page is designed to cover one week and help you really focus on serving and loving your siblings. There is also a place to record your thoughts and results for the week.
5. Resources is the place to come when you need ideas. You'll find lists of information you can use to help you with your goal of serving and loving your siblings.
The Sibling Bundle with Journal has all the pieces you need to learn God's truth, apply it to your life, and even wear it proudly, both as a reminder to yourself and as a witness to the world.
I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.
I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.
This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video . I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!
If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word.
If you are buying digital, you may make as many copies for your own family as needed. It is intended for single-family use only. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on our digital site license page .
Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.
Love how this journal is set up and has great suggestions for siblings. My daughter likes it, just finding the best way to get my sons interested in it a little more.
Bought for my two oldest kids. Looks like it’s filled with great ideas and a true focus on loving one another intentionally and selflessly.
This sibling journal really helped my 7 year old keep track of things. She likes the ease and that it's pretty, LOL. great product!
We haven’t used this yet, but I will be saving this one and buying another for when my kids are a little older to use it! They are just a little young for it now. Very nice journal and glad I bought it!
Such a great journal for siblings to work on together!
We purchased these twice. The first time I purchased the PDF and let my girls work on them, they absolutely loved them. I then decided to buy the actual journal books; they are made very well with heavy paper, not your typical cheap journal paper. I added them to our morning basket work, and my girls still love doing them and comparing them to the previous journal they did. Highly recommend *****
My two girls love to sit together and color in their journals. They are fun and interactive. The journals are well made and sturdy.
We love a nice relaxing faith-centered morning, and this journal is a really nice way to start our day. I love the easy conversations that occur as the kids color and complete their own journals. We purchased the printable version of this one-- colorful and engaging without sapping my ink cartridges!
I used the Sibling Journal with one of my students, a 10 year old with two younger siblings. She enjoyed it and wanted to do it each week because the format was appealing to young girls. And the content was great! I really appreciated the Bible lessons, the "My job as a sibling" sections, and the way it took verses and made kids think about them in terms of a sibling relationship. I highly recommend this for girls old enough to read confidently through middle school age.
