Feelings are a very real part of life, especially for kids. Some stuff their feelings until they POP. Others transfer their feelings to anger and frustration that EXPLODE all over those around them.
Whatever their reaction, every day our kids decide to either believe what the world tells them about themselves or what God tells them.
That's why we wrote this journal!
Our My God Says collection helps kids identify their feelings and counsel those feelings with truth. Like David in the book of Psalms, we are going to have feelings! Kids just need to learn how to meet those feelings with truth instead of the lies our culture feeds them.
Exploring 15 feelings kids face, the My God Says Life Journal gives your kids the tools they need to conquer those waves of emotions and stand steadily in this world of ever-changing "truth." With 120 journal pages, this self-paced study will help kids discover the biblical truth about who they are in Christ.
JOURNAL SECTIONS
The My God Says Journal includes 15 chapters that each begin with a statement connecting the thoughts we often have with the truth we find in God's Word.
As they work through the journal, your kids will learn to use Scripture and truth to steer their lives in the right direction instead of letting their emotions steer them.
Introducing the theme for each chapter, the My God Says section will share a key truth and then take a look at some of the Scriptures that talk about the theme.
Kids can write or draw out the key Scripture for each chapter in the journaling box to help them remember what they've learned!
The Discover section dives deeper into the Bible to discover more about God's truth!
Offering your child the opportunity to work through activities and consider thought-provoking questions, this section will encourage them to see themselves through the lens of Scripture.
The Real Life section includes an inspirational biography about an influential Christian leader and shows how God used their life to make a difference for Him in the world. Each chapter also includes a coloring or activity page that your child will love to complete!
The Truth section will encourage your child to dive deeper into the truth of God's Word in their life with more activities, Scriptures to ponder, and questions to help them really think through how this chapter applies to their life.
It's time for your kids to apply why they've learned in the What's Your Story section. Considering all they've learned as they worked through the previous sections, your child will love learning more about how this truth applies to their lives!
Our My God Says Truth Cards provide kids with God's truth, enabling them to respond confidently to the situations or questions they encounter every day, especially when it
comes to their own feelings.
Each verse in the 75 card set is categorized under one of 15 feelings discussed in the My God Says Life Journal. Whether using these cards on their own or along with the journal, your child will see how God's truth affects their life every single day.

I purchased two of these for my middle/upper elementary boys - they use it each morning as part of their quiet time. It's brought about fruitful conversation with them! It's wonderful to see them digging into God's Word on their own! The layout and content is age-appropriate. We will definitely be ordering more studies when this one is finished!
I absolutely love all of our homeschool curriculum and Bible studies from Not consumed! This was one of our favorites last year and we are back for more. I love the sweet reminders of who God says we are. Our children need to be reminded often of their identity in Christ. I would recommend this to anyone as a great place to start.
I purchased the teen boy and junior girl versions. There are subtle differences, such as "beautiful" replaced with "handsome" and I wouldn't say the colors are either super girly or super boyish. The concepts are the same for the most part, with just a few important customized touches like mentions. I love that this will lead them through the Bible to realize what God says about them, and at such an imperative time in their lives. It's a great way to get them through a big chunk of the Bible, at their own pace, without it feeling like an assignment.
We added these onto the bundle kits purchased. My seven (at the time) kids loved this study on their identity in Christ.
I absolutely love these journals! Perfect for our morning basket for homeschool. I can’t wait for my daughters to use these and really make them their own with the sticker books! I love that these journals answer so many of the tough questions that I get asked by my teen and pre-teen daughters. It will be so fun for them to keep these journals as memories and look back on what they wrote.

I got these journals for my three older kids to encourage their own quiet time. They love them! They have been excited to do a portion each morning and they are easy to understand and follow. Most importantly, they are full of scripture and point their hearts to Christ.
