Inside, you'll find an age-appropriate note-taking page, a prayer list, and even a place to record your favorite Bible verses. My favorite part is the place to record your personal testimony. It's a precious keepsake for your kids as they grow in Christ!
The Sermon Notebook is nice and compact, measuring 6"x 9" with 104 pages for taking notes. It's the perfect companion size for your Bible. There are four versions of the Sermon Notebook: Primary, Junior, Teal, and Gray.
The Primary level is written for young children ages 5-7. With a simple design including spaces to tally up words they hear in a sermon and places to draw, this sermon notebook will help engage younger kids without overwhelming them.
This notebook bundle comes with the Follow Page Markers, Gel Pen Set, and Books of the Bible Bookmark.
The Junior level is written for strong readers/writers, typically ages 8-12. Simple prompts will help them look for themes and specific elements of the sermon like the title and main passage, as well as the people and events discussed. They can then record main points and their own thoughts in the lined space on the next page.

Whether you're looking for a thoughtful gift or a beautiful study tool, we have Bibles to help you and your kids grow in faith!
I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.
I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.
This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!
If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word.
If you are buying digital, you may make as many copies for your own family as needed. It is intended for single-family use only. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on our digital site license page.
Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

Each one of us in our family has one of these journals . This set combined with the sale is a great opportunity to stock up for when we finish out our current journals.
This is so great my 10 and 8 yr old loved decorating their sermon note page after church on the way home. The little tod bits and special sections though out are a nice touch too
My 12 year old daughter loves this notebook. It keeps her engaged and focused during church.
We purchased a set for each of our older 4 kiddos at a homeschool conference. They are loving using them each week!
This book is perfect for keeping my boys engaged in “big church”! It is hard for them to sit still and be an active listener. This book allows them to doodle while also staying focused on Jesus.
This is a great resource to use while listening to sermons in church. There is ample space to write and reflect over the sermon. I also appreciate the spiral bound option to fold over the book and make it easy to write in.
My kids love these! They’ve been an excellent way to teach them how to actively listen during the sermon. As they learn to take notes, they are also getting more out of the worship service. Definitely recommend!
We have loved everything we've tried from Not Consumed! This notebook is such a helpful tool for kids to organize their thoughts, recognize key points, and retain what they're hearing in a sermon. The format is fun but not overly bright or flashy, so that kids are focusing on the right things. I may even buy one for myself as I think it would help me remember what I learned throughout the week!
I purchased two bundles for a couple of our neighbor girls who have been going to church with us the past few months. They do not come from a Christian home and are not used to sitting through church services. I started searching for sermon notebooks for children and was very pleased two find this website that provides materials for getting children engaged in the Word, and not simply passing the time during church. Both girls were very excited by the bundles, and the older of the two makes sure she brings her notebook every week and has been taking notes. Thank you for providing quality resources!
