New 2023 Redesign!
My Brother's Keeper is a 4-week in-depth Bible study on the subject of sibling relationships. We will explore the stories of 10 different siblings from the Bible, some with beautiful stories and some with ugly ones.
Through the stories of these siblings and the pages of Scripture, your children will learn God's true purpose for siblings and families, the issues that siblings face, the responsibilities that they have as siblings, and practical tools for resolving the inevitable conflicts.
Nothing will be mailed to you as this is a digital product. The Bible study fun pack does NOT come with the digital files. You can print off the file and staple it together. We like to use fun duct tape to secure the staples and keep them from poking.
If you'd like a softcover version, instead of digital, please click here.
Due to the extensive use of the "fun pack" stickers in the Pre-K Bible Study, it is NOT available in digital format. We recommend you use the Primary level with this age group or purchase the softcover version.
Here's What You'll Love
Are you at your wits' end over the fighting, constant bickering, and all-around mean behavior your kids show toward each other?
Trust me, I've been there. All the best tricks and parenting books cannot solve the age-old problem of sibling rivalry. The only way to truly change it is to change the hearts of our kids through a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
This sibling Bible study will help you equip your children to truly love their siblings and grow their faith in the process. It's about time for some peace around your house, isn't it?
Our Bible studies are available in 3 age levels that work together perfectly for family study. Each lesson has a consistent key truth,
key Scripture, and
central theme no matter what age level your kids are working in.
Primary Level (ages 5-7)
Written in paragraph form for Mom/Dad to read aloud
One to two verses to read per lesson
Children draw in response to questions
Written in language young children can easily understand
Junior Level (ages 8-12)
Parent Guide
Our parent guide is the perfect addition to help you easily facilitate family Bible study. Each day, you will progress through the same main ideas and key passages your kids will be studying. Plus, we've added parent tips along the way to help you lead discussion as a family. Having the whole family thinking on the same key truths of Scripture will create a more natural environment to talk about the Lord. We know you'll love it!
What version of the Bible do you use?
I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.
What do you believe?
I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.
What age level should I buy?
This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please
check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!
How many copies should I buy?
If you are buying digital, you only need one copy of each age level you will be using. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.) you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on each product's page.
If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word. Please check out this video for more explanation on why this is so important!
How long are your studies?
Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.
Studies with 20 lessons:
Obey
Do Right
Fruit of the Tongue
My Brother's Keeper
Navigating Friendships
A Content Heart
Studies with 25 lessons:
Keep Thy Heart
Studies with 28 lessons:
Developing a Quiet Time
Open-and-go, easy to follow, short lessons but rich in content and effective. It has been the perfect morning addition to our homeschool. My kids enjoy doing the lessons and I love teaching them.
I love how this breaks down consept so that they are easy for the kids to learn and easy for us to keep talking about through out the day.
We have loved this devotional. My children bicker and fight, but also love one another and want to grow together. We did this bible study together as a family. It really lead to some great discussion together. It also helped me think of my own relationships with my siblings as an adult. You will find this a blessing to your family!
This has offered my 6 and 8 year olds some quality points to ponder and work towards.
We have enjoyed being able to work through this as a family, and it's helped us open and discuss the gospel daily. We look forward to purchasing other resources in the future.
My kids have a hard time getting along. So, this has been an important lesson. We are still working to do better. But, so far, I love all of the lessons we've purchased.
This has been a great study for our family. I chose it because some conflicts had come up between my kids. This study helped remind them what the Bible says about how we should treat our siblings and helped to resolve some of the conflicts. Thanks for a great study!
Our teen sons have really enjoyed this we highly recommend this study.
My three kids and I are enjoying this study. It is well written. I love how each level is perfect for my kids. We are using all three levels for my 7, 11, and 15 year old. It’s nice that they can do their study independently and then we come together as a family to discuss each lesson. Another great study by Not Consumed! 👍
This was a wonderful study that we all enjoyed. It gives children meaningful insights into what it truly means to be siblings.
