Great variety

I love this for my son, he is just getting to the age where he can read independently and respond to what he has read so this is a wonderful addition to our schooling. We don’t use it everyday but one easily could if you used just literature for reading curriculum. We use this as a requirement to respond to independent reading at least once a week. He can choose the type response he wants to do since there are several options

Great variety!

I love that these journal prompts aren't overwhelming and they have such variety. My 8 year old is able to complete them often on his own. I let him choose which one he wants to do each day.

So worth it!

I love this journal and my son is equally excited about it! We are a ways in and he doesn’t hesitate one bit. In fact, I haven’t needed to remind him about it yet… he’s so excited to use it daily. I homeschool four kids, so having this for my third grader gives me a good way to check in on how much he reads and whether he is actually understanding what he’s reading.

This is Great!

This is great to use for my daughter,(7) who loves to read! She often finishes her work faster than her brother, so this will be great for her to explore her books more deeply and to get some more writing practice too! Love it! Thank you!

Great for Summer Reading

We will be using these for summer reading. I told my kids that if they write in it everyday, by the end of the week, they'll get a reward.

Exactly How We Homeschool

This journal fits within the style of how I teach language arts to my children. My son is excited to use it everyday. It has gone so well for him, that I purchased one for my kindergartner and she is looking forward to using it when she is in second grade.

Love the idea of this

I love the idea of this reading journal. It's a bit too advanced for my 1st grader so hoping it will be perfect for next year.
