What version of the Bible do you use?

I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.

What do you believe?

I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.

What age level should I buy?

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

How many copies should I buy?

If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word.

If you are buying digital, you may make as many copies for your own family as needed. It is intended for single-family use only. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on our digital site license page.

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

So beautiful!

What an incredible study as we anticipated Christmas Day. I enjoyed uncovering mercies to the manger just as much as my children did! It would be a good study to go through every Christmas.

An excellent Advent study

I purchased Mercies at the Manger for our family to do during Advent and it was excellent! My kids enjoyed the family tree and seeing how many names we already knew in the lineage of Jesus. I also liked that it did challenges us to think through things and have good discussions. Highly recommend for a family study!

Wonderful Christmas stufy

Were so enjoying this study! Every morning my girls say 'mom! Can we do Bible study now!' I love how it takes us through the whole Bible! we will definitely be purchasing more when we're through with this one!

Great Christmas Bible Study

Another great study

This is another great NC study. It’s a nice way to focus on the true meaning of Christmas. It can be done any time of the year but a great way to begin each day in December.

Loved this study

I wasn’t going to do the study but so glad we did! Such a great study to do with my kids for the advent season! My kids were excited to do it everyday. I even learned some things I hadn’t known before! Definitely recommend!

The best ever!

I have done many different Bible studies throughout my time, but this study was by far, hands down, the absolute best study I have ever done. The parent study itself was phenomenal! I was continually wowed with opening eyes to things I never even put together before. Top it off with the fact that my 5 and 7 year old were able to immerse in the same study right along with me but through listening and drawing, was perfection! We’re so thankful to have ordered the pdf to be able to do this study over again!
