HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL LOVE

Parent Guide
Our Parent Guide is the perfect addition to help you easily facilitate family Bible study. Each day, you will progress through the same main ideas and key passages your kids will be studying.
Plus, we've added parent tips along the way to help you lead discussion as a family.
Having the whole family thinking on the same key truths of Scripture will create a more natural environment to talk about the Lord. We know you'll love it!
What version of the Bible do you use?
I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to ensure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.
What do you believe?
I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.
What age level should I buy?
This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please
check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!
How many copies should I buy?
If you are buying digital, you only need one copy of each age level you will be using. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on each product's page.
If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word. Please check out this video for more explanation on why this is so important!
How long are your studies?
Each Bible study is a slightly different length ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

This was a beautiful advent study. It was simple and easy to use. It was engaging for the kids and kept us thinking about the true meaning of Christmas. Very excited to dive into some of your other Bible studies.
This is another great NC study. It’s a nice way to focus on the true meaning of Christmas. It can be done any time of the year but a great way to begin each day in December.
I wasn’t going to do the study but so glad we did! Such a great study to do with my kids for the advent season! My kids were excited to do it everyday. I even learned some things I hadn’t known before! Definitely recommend!
I have done many different Bible studies throughout my time, but this study was by far, hands down, the absolute best study I have ever done. The parent study itself was phenomenal! I was continually wowed with opening eyes to things I never even put together before. Top it off with the fact that my 5 and 7 year old were able to immerse in the same study right along with me but through listening and drawing, was perfection! We’re so thankful to have ordered the pdf to be able to do this study over again!
I am very thankful for the work the Lord has done in you and giving you the ability to share! My kids and myself have been greatly blessed by these devotions.
My daughter read this study each evening and really enjoyed it so much!
We are wrapping up this study in the next couple days. It has been so sweet counting down to Christmas using the cards along with this Bible study. There have been several lessons that have really encouraged me, and I pray my kids will remember them and grow from them!
This study could be used alone, but we have the countdown cards, as well as the stickers (which are used in Jesus’ family tree). So just be aware that if you don’t have those, you will reach lessons where it says to place this sticker on this spot.
This study is perfect to dive into around Christmas time. It is well written and easy for kids to understand. We printed individual copies of this study, stapled it and used fun washi tape to cover the staples. I’m a BIG fan of the Not Consumed bible studies. 😉
Such a sweet family study that kept my kids' (and my husband & I's) focus on Jesus this past Christmas!
