Promises Bible Study (Digital)

From Genesis to Jesus: A Promise Kept

When life feels uncertain, we all need a place to stand. Promises is a Bible study that helps your kids understand that God’s promises are sure, unchanging, and trustworthy, because He is. From creation to the cross and beyond, every page of Scripture points to a God who keeps His Word.

This 20-day study guides children through key promises in the Bible, demonstrating how God has fulfilled them in the past and how He continues to fulfill them today. As your family works through the study together, your kids will begin to see that they can trust God, no matter what they face, because He has proven Himself faithful again and again.

With age-appropriate levels, simple daily lessons, and hands-on application, Promises makes it easy to anchor your kids’ hearts in the truth of God’s Word, even in the middle of everyday challenges.

In this study, kids will:

  • Learn what a covenant is and why God always keeps His

  • Trace God’s promises through Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation

  • See how Jesus fulfills the promises of the Old Testament

  • Discover how to apply God’s promises in their own lives

  • Grow in confidence that God is trustworthy—no matter what

Start Promises today and help your kids see that God’s Word never fails.

This study is part of our Stepping Stones series.

The Stepping Stones series helps children grow in their understanding of important Bible themes including the basics of theology, the parables of Jesus, His miracles, God’s promises, and the lives of people who lived by faith. These studies go beyond familiar stories to help kids see how God reveals His character and plan throughout Scripture. With short lessons and multi-level options, this series is an excellent resource for families who want to dig deeper into God’s Word together.

FAQ

There is no scripture written out in our studies, only references. When it comes to growing faith, it's crucial that kids look up passages in the Bible for themselves and our studies are written to help them do that!

We study and write using ESV, as well as a variety of translations. Special attention has been given to make sure kids can answer questions regardless of the translation they are using.

We believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth. Read more here.

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

If you are buying digital, you may make as many copies for your own family as needed. It is intended for single-family use only.

We highly encourage you to make sure that each child can participate by having their own copy on their own level. You can learn more about why in this video.

If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on our digital site license page.

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.
