Why you'll love this Bible study
Struggling to fight off the me-first "gimmie" attitude that consumes kids today? In a world of instant gratification, upside-down priorities, and exaggerated selfies, we need something to help our kids as they strive for true contentment in their lives. What we need is a better understanding of what God's Word says regarding this matter. This contentment Bible study can help.
Our Bible studies are available in 3 levels that work together perfectly for family study. Each lesson has a consistent key truth, key Scripture, and central theme no matter what age level your kids are working in.
Each study in the family Bible study bundle also comes with a fun pack including verse cards, stickers, and a bookmark. A fun and conversational Bible study button is also included.
Help the Bible come to life for your kids through award-winning audio dramas. These CDs are supplemental and can be used before, during, or after your study. You decide!
Charlie's Choice (ages 8+)
Hold on to your seat! You are about to take a journey with Charlie, a boy of adventure and risk. Dissatisfied with his lot in life, Charlie dreams of a better future, where money can cure all ills. He dreams of living in luxury and ease and is determined to make his dreams come true!
Whether you use it before, after, or during the study, it's sure to spark great conversations about godly contentment as you sit on pins and needles waiting to see what happens to Charlie.
Operation Arctic: Viking Invasion (all ages)
The whole family will love going on a musical adventure with Patch the Pirate and his crew. Will Princess follow her heart and give in to the distractions around her? Or will she choose humility and become the godly ruler she was meant to be? Your family will love listening to this musical audio drama before, during, or after you complete the Bible study. It's sure to spark good conversations about how to be content.
What version of the Bible do you use?
I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.
What do you believe?
I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.
What age level should I buy?
This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!
How many copies should I buy?
If you are buying digital, you only need one copy. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.) you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on each product's page.
If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word.
How long are your studies?
Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

These devotions (we’ve done Guard your Heart as well) are truly fantastic. My kids have become familiar with the bible, because we are reading and retaining so much scripture. I love the work for me as well and i look forward to our discussions as a family. Not Consumed has been the breath of fresh air we were looking for in our Bible study time.
I love this. I haven't started but looked through and can't wait to begin!
I’m so excited to start this with our girls. We’re finishing up another study by not consumed and it’s just so beautifully written for both of their ages. Thank you for another Bible study that we’ll get to enjoy together as a family.
These lessons are formed well expanding knowledge and critical thinking in the classroom for all ages. We can't wait to go through the complete lessons and see the results!

We wanted to find a study to do this summer, and this is perfect! Our ages range from 5-11, and we appreciate the different levels of books! It's so helpful to help the older ones dive in deeper and still leave the little ones with something to think about. I am thankful for the adult book as I have been learning more and more on how to be thankful and content with what we have :) Love it!
This is a great study for our homeschool, and my son and I can both glean a lot of truth from this.
My kids are little, 4 and 6. We've always read Bible stories for worship and still do, but this is just something extra to kick it up a notch. To get their hands on a Bible and help them focus on specific ideas that relate to them personally. The concepts have been relatable and the hands on portion is their favorite!
This has been my favorite Bible study that I have done with my daughter. She is 9 and the content of the Junior edition was perfect for her- I think that I learned just as much as she did! We want to honor the Lord each day, so being equipped with the 3 parts of a content heart has been a perfect reminder for both of us to love God and others.
