My Brother's Keeper Sibling Bible Study

New 2023 Redesign and Pre-K level added!

My Brother's Keeper is a 4-week in-depth Bible study on the subject of sibling relationships. We will explore the stories of 10 different siblings from the Bible, some with beautiful stories and some with ugly ones.

Through the stories of these siblings and the pages of Scripture, your children will learn God's true purpose for siblings and families, the issues that siblings face, the responsibilities that they have as siblings, and practical tools for building sibling relationships.

This study is part of our Relationship Series, designed to teach your kids Biblical principles for developing and strengthening Christian relationships. Learn more HERE.

FAQ

I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.

I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

If you are buying digital, you only need one copy. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on each product's page.

If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word.

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

Beautifully Done

Our family did this study for homeschool! We have a small home where space is limited and I was at my ends with the bickering! This study I planned to help my kids with this “problem” but little did I expect it work within my own heart for the strained relationship between myself and my siblings too! Thank you Kim for all you put into these!

Toddler loves this!

My 3-year-old son loved doing this study. The lessons were simple enough for him to understand and remember. The activities were fun, and he always asked to do another day!

Great Study using Siblings in the Bible!

This was the first product we bought from Not Consumed, and we loved it so much that we keep buying new studies! It uses several pairs of siblings from the Bible to look at various dynamics between siblings. So helpful for ourfamily with four school-aged kids in the house! We love that each person can have an age-appropriate version of the study guide, and we enjoy discussing each day’s thoughts together. So thankful for these resources!

We love Not Consumed!

I knew about Not Consumed for a while, but this school year is the first time we have used it. I began with the FREE Bible Study with my 13 year old son to see if we liked it and absolutely loved it! So, I purchased this unit My Brother's Keeper and my son is loving it! I sit with him and we do it together, we discuss the verses and other topics that come up, and then pray! Gives us that one on one time together, plus it teaches him also about loving his siblings.

I'm very thankful to have found this curriculum and I will be purchasing more of the units in the near future.

Wonderful Study

I purchased this for my 3 boys. It is part of our homeschool day, and I have to say, it starts the day out on the right foot. There has been less arguing and more compassion with each other since starting this Bible study. Not only that, but I'm learning things as well about my relationships with my own siblings. I highly recommend this study and can't wait to do more of them!

He loves stickers, it is hard to get him engage in the reading but still it is not that much for the reading and I like the activities. I think it is long enough for him
