Do you ever feel like the fighting never ends?
Every parent dreams of a peaceful home. And yet, some days it seems like there's nothing but endless bickering and strife. Can I tell you a secret? The solution isn't to be conflict-free. In fact, that's impossible!
Conflict is a normal part of life because everyone has differing opinions, agendas, and even values. The real solution is to learn strategies to help us RESOLVE CONFLICT in a biblical way.
Making Peace is a 20-day Bible study teaching kids and families a biblical model for conflict resolution. You'll learn:
This Bible study is available in different age levels from pre-k through parent and is meant to be done individually then discussed together. (More on our family Bible study model here.)
Due to the extensive use of the "fun pack" stickers in the Pre-K Bible Study, it is NOT available in digital format. We recommend you use the Primary level with this age group or purchase the softcover version.
This study is part of our Relationship Series, designed to teach your kids Biblical principles for developing and strengthening Christian relationships. Learn more HERE.
Nothing will be mailed to you as this is a digital product. You can print off the file and staple it together. We like to use fun duct tape to secure the staples and keep them from poking.
The Bible study fun pack does NOT come with the digital version.
If you'd like a softcover version, instead of digital, please click here.
Our digital Bible studies are available in 3 age levels that work together perfectly for family study. Each lesson has a consistent key truth, key Scripture, and central theme no matter what age level your kids are working in.
Primary Level (ages 5-7)
Written in paragraph form for Mom/Dad to read aloud
One to two verses to read per lesson
Children draw in response to questions
Written in language young children can easily understand
Junior Level (ages 8-12)
Children work independently then discuss with the family
Children have lines and boxes to write or draw responses
Two to four verses to read per lesson
Written with a focus on issues school-aged kids face
What version of the Bible do you use?
I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.
What do you believe?
I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.
What age level should I buy?
This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please
check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!
How many copies should I buy?
If you are buying digital, you only need one copy of each age level you will be using. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc) you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on each product's page.
If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word. Please check out this video for more explanation on why this is so important!
How long are your studies?
Each Bible study is a slightly different length ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.
