New 2024 Redesign!
Do your kids say the same things every time they pray? Does it seem like they're just repeating words they've heard adults say, and don't really understand what they mean?
Our JOY Prayer Cards are the perfect resource to take those repeated "God bless my family" prayers and develop them into a robust, faith-filled prayer life. This set of 28 cards with four different themes:
These cards are a practical tool for both parents and kids, so order a set and help your kids pray thoughtfully and sincerely right away!
These high-quality cards encourage prayer through suggestions and Scripture. They have been designed specifically with multi-ages in mind. Parents can use the cards with young children by praying and reading through them as a family. As children get older, they have the freedom to use the cards to support their own prayer life.
The JOY prayer cards have been an invaluable resource to help my kids GROW in faith! Are you ready to give your kids the tools they need for a deeper and more meaningful prayer life? Let's do it!
Our family is loving the JOY prayer cards. We fell into a bit of a routine prayer rut and we would talk about having an open conversation with God but for a five year old she was ready to say our nighttime prayer and move on to talk about a story or whatever was on her little mind. The JOY cards make it so she thinks of other things that we maybe didn't cover and it has help us narrow it down. We would try before to do some of these but the list got too long and she lost interest. Now she is excited to see who we are praying for each night. I have also noticed that on nights when we aren't able to use the cards, when it is her turn to pray she might still say our original prayer but she has started adding in extras and that makes my Mama heart so proud that she is taking it on herself to engage in prayer time with God.
I really like that these cards teach my son how to pray over different subjects and not just a cookie cutter way to pray. This makes it more personal.
I have the OG version and we absolutely love using these during devotional time to help teach the kids how to pray. We’ve had almost a year now and they’re still in tiptop shape
We are using the JOY cards as part of our family worship time together. I like the simplicity of them but that they are straightforward and there are verses to look up. It's getting us to spend actual time (short but real) praising God for who he is (the J part) and focusing on specific people in the Others part. I think it helps us all. I hope eventually my girls will want to do it on their own but we are just not there yet. They are 10 and 12. I just recently started requiring that they spend time with Jesus alone each morning, otherwise they do not get to play games on the iPad that day. I am trying to enforce the idea that we need to put God first. This is only me and not my husband, unfortunately, doing this, otherwise I suspect it might not be as difficult (?).
We used these with the acts cards to help get our kids out of a rut during prayer time. Great resource!
We start our days with a worship song, discussion from our NC bible study, read aloud, and our JOY prayer cards! They're perfect for teaching kids "how" to pray - to think of others and be more creative than the same old things all the time. The kids take turns picking & we rotate them & reshuffle when we make it through the deck.
We bought these in 2018 and used them then. We are now going through them again. Now that my kids are a few years older, these mean even more to them.
I love the way these have influenced the prayers in our family...with our thankfulness and praise for Jesus at the very start.
These cards help everyone feel more comfortable praying aloud in front of others as well as get out of prayer ruts where we're saying the same prayers all the time. Highly recommend!
