Turning Early Skills Into Real Reading

Connections is a gentle, easy-to-use reading curriculum that systematically teaches phonics and literacy skills through a structured progression of letter sounds, blends, and sight words. This complete 150-lesson reading program is designed to help your child transition from knowing letter sounds to reading independently with confidence.

Short, focused lessons (10–30 minutes) introduce new phonics concepts in a clear sequence while built-in review strengthens retention.

Each lesson builds naturally from the last, helping your child make connections between sounds, words, and meaning. A Bible lesson and memory verse is included each week to show how Jesus connects to your child's life!

  • What are the credentials of the Not Consumed team?

God has blessed the Not Consumed team with a great deal of education (including a variety of degrees) and decades of combined homeschool experience. Several team members have subject specific degrees or master's degrees in education, specifically curriculum design.

  • What are the credentials of the Not Consumed team?

The Not Consumed team exists for one purpose: to help your family grow in faith so you can live #NotConsumed. We are homeschool parents with over 220 years of combined homeschooling experience, advanced degrees in education and curriculum design, and a deep love for serving families well. Every Bible study, family resource, and homeschool curriculum we create is anchored in Scripture and made to be practical, clear, and easy to use, because we know your days are already full.

We believe the best learning happens when families gather around God's Word together, so we create resources that work across ages and stages to make that time meaningful, approachable, and real.

  • What do you believe?

I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.

  • Is the curriculum accredited?

Though schools can be accredited, there is not an accreditation program for curriculum.
