God's Story New Testament Bible Study

God's Story New Testament Bible Study

Do your kids have the faith they need to stand strong?

Many kids today walk away from the faith because they never experienced Scripture personally. They know the stories of the Bible, but they don't have a clear understanding of how they fit into God's plan, or how it applies to them.

God's Story New Testament Bible Study helps kids understand the Gospel by showing how the entire Bible fits together into one big redemptive story. It gives history, context, and purpose to their faith, and most importantly, points kids to their need for a relationship with Jesus.

In this 5-week study of the New Testament, families will:

  • Learn how each book in the New Testament tells the story of the Gospel
  • Learn life application lessons from each book of the New Testament
  • Read and study Scripture to help kids personalize, defend, and consider their faith
  • Discover God’s calling and purpose for their life inside of the Gospel
  • Gain victory over sin through the power of Jesus

FAQ

I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.

I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word.

If you are buying digital, you may make as many copies for your own family as needed. It is intended for single-family use only. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on our digital site license page.

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

Highly recommend

We completed the “fruit of the tongue” NotConsumed bible study for our kids b11 g8 earlier this year after buckling down and making it a priority. I bought the New Testament set for them and myself and we have made our bible study the first thing of every morning. I am so impressed by how much we ALL get out of it! Excellent. We also all enjoy doing it. 10000% recommend.

Lovely Curriculum.

I purchased God's Story study through the New Testament for my kids club girls. My class ranges from junior to upper teens and they are all really enjoying the study in junior level books. I am so thankful to Not Consumed for a lovely curriculum that makes my job as a teacher much easier.

Helpful

My 4th grade girl wants to dig in and read the Bible herself, but some of the Old Testament cultural difference she struggles to wrap her head around. This was a great first dive into the Old Testament.
