What version of the Bible do you use?

There is no scripture written out in our studies, only references. When it comes to growing faith, it's crucial that kids look up passages in the Bible for themselves and our studies are written to help them do that!We study and write using ESV, as well as a variety of translations. Special attention has been given to make sure kids can answer questions regardless of the translation they are using.

We believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth. What age level should I buy?

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

How many copies should I buy?

If you are buying digital, you may make as many copies for your own family as needed. It is intended for single-family use only. We highly encourage you to make sure that each child can participate by having their own copy on their own level. You can learn more about why in this video. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on our digital site license page.

How long are your studies?

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

Great!

We have really enjoyed this study. It has been easy, informative and brought up opportunities for great conversations. Definitely recommend and I can't wait to dive into another one! 😁

Gets right to the heart

This Bible study was just what we needed. It encouraged open & honest conversations with my kids, and was written in such an understandable way with great questions to help guide them through each lesson.

Perfect

I'm doing it with my 6 year old, and the lessons are short to keep his attention. The words used are simple yet powerful to make sense to his understanding. There are Bible verses to look at (read) and make him learn about it. We love it - it's perfect!

A Content Heart

Having a content heart is hard for adults these days. Let alone a child. This lesson is a great reminder for all of us.

We purchased the digital version and it has been amazing. Our family (mom, step dad, 17 year old son and 7 year old son) does the study together. The lessons are clear and concise and use ideas that our 7 year old understands. I cannot wait to get more studies!

Perfect for my kids

This was a great study for my kids. (We are a homeschool family and my kids are 1, 6, 9, 10, and 12. I used the primary and junior ages. I am moving my oldest up to the youth for the Christmas study that I just ordered. My 1 year old obviously didn't participate LOL.)
I timed it so that we would finish this right before Thanksgiving and Christmas since that seems to be a very "give me" time of year! It wasn't a super deep study, but it was perfect for what my kids needed and I loved that they were looking up scripture on their own. They did each day by themselves (except for my 6 year old) and then we came together to go over it. I would definitely recommend this for other families looking to teach their kids about studying the Bible. My only "complaint" is that the parent guide could be a little deeper, but I realize that's not the purpose of this study. Overall I was very pleased! As we ended, we talked about the differences in NEEDS and WANTS. It really clicked with my kids and they will now correct me when I say I need something! Ha!

Perfect November Study!

We are only halfway through this study and it's amazing! Another beautiful, thought-provoking study from Not Consumed. My teenage son came to me and said "Mom! The versed they had us look up today were really good! Like, fantastic!" This is a kid who is deep in the word in a Leadership program in not only our church, but surrounding states, where kids learn to disciple and share the gospel and are being trained to be leaders. His youth pastor has them memorize entire books of the bible. So, for him to say it's amazing, and makes him think and challenges him, is amazing and wonderful and we will just keep on doing your studies! Thank you so much, Kim & team!!
