Becoming a Servant Bible Study (Digital)

Does it take several repetitions of "Pick up your toys" to get your kids to clean up? Or is there fighting all over your house because everyone wants their own way and no one wants to take turns? Maybe your kids will do chores when asked but don't take initiative if left unprompted. If any of those sound familiar to you, there may be a lack of servant-heartedness in your home!

Jesus calls us to put others above ourselves and to work hard with what we've been given. In our Becoming a Servant Bible study, we learn how selfish we really are as fallen humans. We look at Jesus' example of servant leadership, what spiritual gifts are, and how to use those gifts to serve others. We pray that after completing this Bible study on serving, you and your children will be motivated and empowered to use your gifts for God's glory and place the needs of others before your own!

Due to the extensive use of the "fun pack" stickers in the Pre-K Bible study, it is NOT available in digital format. We recommend you use the Primary level with this age group or purchase the softcover version.

Nothing will be mailed to you as this is a digital product. The Bible study fun pack does NOT come with the digital files. You can print off the file and staple it together. We like to use fun duct tape to secure the staples and keep them from poking.

This Bible study is available in 5 age levels. If you'd like a softcover version click here.

This study is part of our Relationship Series, designed to teach your kids Biblical principles for developing and strengthening Christian relationships. Learn more HERE.

FAQ

I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.

I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word.

If you are buying digital, you may make as many copies for your own family as needed. It is intended for single-family use only. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on our digital site license page.

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

Great study tool

I bought this one when UT came out and love it. I got all levels for my children as we have various ages. It came at the perfect time as we have been struggling with the kids serving with humble hearts. Highly recommend this study and all other NC products

Great to use with the whole family

This study has allowed our family to have great conversations about what it means to become a servant. I appreciate how the study explains these concepts in age appropriate ways.
