All Around Town is for the mom who wants her child's earliest learning years to be rooted in real life, not a workbook.
All Around Town turns the everyday places your child already passes—the post office, the library, the grocery store, the park—into 20 guided field trips that make the world make sense. Simple daily activities build the foundations of literacy, math readiness, and social awareness, while every unit helps your child begin to recognize God's hand in the community He placed them in. All Around Town is open-and-go and designed for young learners, so it's meaningful without being forced.
All Around Town is written for real Pre-K families, not idealized ones.
The curriculum is organized into 20 community-based units designed to span a full Pre-K year. Most lessons require little to no preparation beyond common household materials. Daily learning typically fits into 15 to 20 minutes, enough to be meaningful without overwhelming a young learner or the parent teaching them.
If a location cannot be visited, practical at-home alternatives are built in so learning continues without interruption.
Learning happens through conversation, movement, role play, and guided activities…not extended seatwork. Skills are introduced gently and reinforced through real-world experiences, so your child builds real understanding, not a stack of completed worksheets.
This curriculum builds readiness without pressure. There is no complicated schedule to maintain, no extra planning required, and no rigid order to follow. Units can be adapted to your location, field trips can be replaced with local or at-home alternatives, and learning can happen naturally, even during regular errands.
It is built for real families and real life.
Each All Around Town kit arrives complete—everything your child needs to explore, discover, and learn, from the first unit to the last:
All Around Town Core Curriculum Book
All Around Town Coloring Book
All Around Town Matching Game
All Around Town Reusable Sticker Book
All Around Town Tracker Map
Field Trips Backpack
Is All Around Town open-and-go? Yes. Open the book, read the parent instructions, and you're ready to start—no prep night, no planning ahead required.
How many copies should I purchase? One kit per child is recommended. Each child works directly with their own materials, and having their own set is part of what builds engagement and ownership in young learners.
What if we cannot visit every location? Every unit includes built-in alternatives, so learning continues whether the location is accessible or not. The curriculum is built to work with your real life, not around perfect conditions.
What Bible translation is used? We want kids in the Word for themselves, so we provide references rather than printed verses. Your family uses the translation you already love.
How long does the curriculum last? The 20-unit curriculum covers a full Pre-K year. Most families work through a unit in 15–20 minutes, two to three times a week. A gentle rhythm that fits naturally into life with a young child.

I’ve got 2 kiddos enjoying this and the older kids love listening in as well. Every part of the program is high quality, fun activities and gentle enough for most pre-k children. We love it!
I bought this because I knew it would be a blast. It gives clear focus for making the most of field trips. However, I also recently started using it to meet our states civics requirement and it fits as an age appropriate civics curriculum beautifully.
This is the perfect gentle introduction to prek. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for. My daughter is thriving and is so eager to complete the activities and go on field trips.
This is an awesome set thay includes workbook and field trips! What better combination for homeschooling! My 3 year is loving the adventures we have been on.
Purchased this for my now 4 year old. He goes to preschool 3 times a week, but also wanted to supplement at home. He truly loves creating his own scene with stickers and the matching game - Although, he's still trying to understand the matching game rules, but we'll get there. Absolutely love the field trip book and we can't wait to start adding those into our schedule. Even his older sisters (9&7) are looking forward to going to them too! Really excited to start implementing this into our daily routine!
If you must use a preschool curriculum, I highly recommend THIS one. What a wonderful way to teach about a child's community, map skills plus engage in a small amount of table activities like coloring and stickers and a community field trip. Partner this with some good picture books from your trip to the library and this is ALL you will need! I'm actually using this for my adult son with down syndrome who has significant cognitive delay- this is just a great curriculum.
We haven't started using the curriculum yet, but I've been able to read through the whole thing and I cannot wait to get started. Even though its a prek curriculum, my elementary children are going to do it with my preschooler and I'm so excited to start!
