Uncovering Mercies at the Cross Bible Study

Uncovering Mercies at the Cross Bible Study

Easter is a time of celebration focusing on the death and resurrection of Jesus, but many of our kids don't understand just how important these events are. Without Jesus' sinless life, death to pay for our sin, and resurrection to show His power over death, we would still be lost in our sin. So how can we help our kids grasp these essential truths?

Uncovering Mercies at the Cross takes care of this! In our 20-day Easter Bible study, we look at the mercy Jesus showed in His life, death, and resurrection, emphasizing the life-changing truth of what He accomplished on the cross. This personal study will help your kids:

  • learn what Easter is and why we celebrate it.
  • discover God's mercy woven through the greatest story ever told.
  • grow in their ability to communicate the gospel to others.

Get your study today and lead your kids in uncovering the mercy of God found at the cross!

FAQ

I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.

I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word.

If you are buying digital, you may make as many copies for your own family as needed. It is intended for single-family use only. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on our digital site license page.

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

Getting closer to God

Thank you so much for these books. I ordered the primer for a newly 6yo and she is thoroughly enjoying these lessons as am I. I do feel some of the wording and material is over her head so I find myself having to simplify and explain things more than I thought I would, but nonetheless, she actually asks me to do these. The other night before bed I asked if she'd like to color, watch something or do a Bible study before bed and she requested the Bible study. We've always prayed together but this is her first Bible study and we're so glad we chose this as our first intro. As a parent, I love the lessons not only for her but for myself. They are thought provoking and have me diving deeper into the Bible when our lessons are over. Thank you so very much for bringing families together and Jesus into our hearts 💕

New Learner

My daughter is at that age where she can start to understand true meanings of certain things and I wanted something fun and interactive for her to keep her engaged but also help her remember as well. we have made Sundays our "bible study" mornings and she absolutely loves it so far. a perfect way to understand the meaning of Easter right before we celebrate it. She even asks on "off" days if we can do this. She loves the scripture cards we also received with this as well. A friend of mine recommended me to this site and I'm definitely amazed at all the different things you guys offer. We are actually looking into homeschooling next fall and just saw you also provide some of those things as well. Keep up what you're doing. simply amazing! This buy was by far way worth it! will continue getting more things as we go!

Nice looking studies

I bought the Easter study for my family and am really looking forward to a more interactive, special study to do about Jesus' death and resurrection. My family basically missed a lot of the Christmas celebrations this past season due to medical emergencies and time spent in hospitals so it makes it even more special to look forward to this special study on such an important topic!

Wonderful study

We have really enjoyed this study. My kids are spread apart in age, but the age appropriate lessons keep them all engaged in a way they stay interested. The lessons are long enough to make some beautiful points while short enough that the kids don’t feel burdened when working independently on the lessons. This is a great study to get into the word of God as a family!!
