looking forward to this

This covers music from historical periods, some theory, musical terms, and info on instruments, but also cultural considerations of music and its role within different points in time. Nor lacking or overwhelming in presentation,--it covers a broad range of topics, but also is not so demanding that it will not put-off or time-inhibit further musical study, listening, reading, or rabbit trails.

Music Major Approved

Hey there, so I am a second generation homeschooler, got this curriculum for my son who loves music and will be entering highschool this fall. I asked my mom who was both a homeschooler to 10 children K-Graduation as well as a music major when she was in school herself check it out. She LOVES it! In fact, she was so fascinated she wanted the book for herself! Great job Not Consumed Team! Looking forward to exploring it with my son.

Wonderful Resource

We have been using Sounds of the Masters this last semester and have loved it! The kids are learning hymns and learning to play the tin whistle. The included online videos are very helpful and even our kindergarten student is doing really well with it. Our 4th grader willingly played Silent Night on his tin whistle for his grandparents this past Christmas and all were touched. Thank you for this wonderful resource.

I love the was the lessons are taught, vocabulary is bolded, examples given, and fill in's along with suggested music. The pictures and history timeline are great.
