What version of the Bible do you use?

There is no scripture written out in our studies, only references. When it comes to growing faith, it's crucial that kids look up passages in the Bible for themselves and our studies are written to help them do that!We study and write using ESV, as well as a variety of translations. Special attention has been given to make sure kids can answer questions regardless of the translation they are using.

We believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth. What age level should I buy?

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

How many copies should I buy?

You'll want to purchase one copy per child at their specific age level. This will enable children to study at their level and record their own drawings and responses to the Word. We highly encourage you to make sure that each child can participate by having their own book on their own level. You can learn more about why in this video.

How long are your studies?

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

We really enjoyed this study!

This has been a great resource for our homeschool! We love all of the studies we have done from Not Consumed and this one is no different!

Our first family bible study

This was a great bible study! This bible kicked off our homeschool mornings as well as starting a new tradition. Even though months have passes and we've done others, my kids still reference this particular bible study.

Work as a way to honor God

This study was an enjoyable way to explore the ways we can honor God in the work we do, whether our works are small or large.

I love how Kim makes her Bible studies fun for kids. My kids love opening their new pack to see what they get. Stickers and Bible verse cards, bookmark. So fun.

Has been great for my boys

I’m a homeschool mom to 3 boys, and they love the “Work Unto the Lord” Bible Study. It has also been great for me. It’s something that we all look forward to doing together to get our day off to the right start! The boys are memorizing the scriptures and saying them often throughout the day! We will be absolutely be ordering more studies from Not Consumed! Any suggestions for our next one?

A Perspective Changer

This has been a perspective shift for my children, 13 and 10 years old. The points made and the scripture used and made my children view work differently. The practice of these new lessons will take time to become the new normal but we are so thankful for this study. I recommend to anyone!
