What version of the Bible do you use?

There is no scripture written out in our studies, only references. When it comes to growing faith, it's crucial that kids look up passages in the Bible for themselves and our studies are written to help them do that!We study and write using ESV, as well as a variety of translations. Special attention has been given to make sure kids can answer questions regardless of the translation they are using.

We believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth. What age level should I buy?

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

How many copies should I buy?

You'll want to purchase one copy per child at their specific age level. This will enable children to study at their level and record their own drawings and responses to the Word. We highly encourage you to make sure that each child can participate by having their own book on their own level. You can learn more about why in this video.

How long are your studies?

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

Pre-K (ages 2-4)

Studying with a group of ladies!

I know the study is intended for parents to do with their kids but I am meeting with a group of moms of various ages (some are grandparents and one is a grandma raising her grands!) We are finding this study to be very helpful in teaching us how to speak life in all areas of our lives! We are eager to get into another study like this!! Easter Study Here We Come!!!

Wow … just wow

I’ve done several Barnes and Noble or Amazon bible studies with my 5 and 3 year old, but never have I had a bible study that was so applicable to their every day life. It will forever live on my mantle. When we struggle with our words, I can refer to and reread the page that pertains to the issue in that moment. Great parenting tools. We can’t wait to start our next Not Consumed bible study.

Junior Sunday school

We bought these forSunday school junior class. It is practical, truths that can be applied. Wonderful study. Clear and so close to kids heart. And it answers the greatest question throughout the book: “ How does this apply to me? “ I’ll be buying more studies. If I would have a suggestion for the creators of this study: Your studies are so authentic and relevant, it is an excellent aid and can be used at a larger scale for Sunday Schools and, or , summer camps… Would you be willing to create an editable PowerPoint presentation with them so they might be used as a teaching aid ? Highly recommend. These studies are good for the whole family. I am doing them with a friend and we are really enjoying them. I put the cards that come with it on my vision board. Love the stickers also.

Excellent Bible Resource for Teens

A year ago, I also purchased this book, one for each teen at our small church and would complete a lesson per week on Sunday!!! It shows teens how to do away with toxic speaking . They even presented on a poster of what they learned to parents at the end. I still refer to the ways to use the tongue when needed to redirect on their speaking and they are being transformed by God’s word. Thank you so much for this resource!

One of our favorites

We have purchased almost couple of sets of Bible studies from Not consumed, and this was one of our favorite Bible studies. It really visualizes what it means to acquire the different virtues for a child. Thanks NC for the creativity!

Convicting

I and my husband have been doing these with the kids. We both have been challenged with our words and we have seen a change in the kids too. I love watching God work in our family! He is ever faithful!
