What version of the Bible do you use?

There is no scripture written out in our studies, only references. When it comes to growing faith, it's crucial that kids look up passages in the Bible for themselves and our studies are written to help them do that!We study and write using ESV, as well as a variety of translations. Special attention has been given to make sure kids can answer questions regardless of the translation they are using.

We believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. We believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth. What age level should I buy?

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

How many copies should I buy?

You'll want to purchase one copy per child at their specific age level. This will enable children to study at their level and record their own drawings and responses to the Word. We highly encourage you to make sure that each child can participate by having their own book on their own level. You can learn more about why in this video.

How long are your studies?

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

Great study for kids (and parents!) struggling with anger

This study is great for my son who is struggling with anger. It has been really great to work through and helps me with my anger as well!
I love how these studies are also a Bible study for the parent. I wish I had bought the bundle, I’d like to go through the rest of the heavy feelings series.

Great for Big Emotions

Going through this with my 7 and 8 year olds. Such a good study for their big emotions.

Amazing Family Discussions

We have had an amazing time doing the Don’t Blow Up Study! The kids are relating and sharing and really digging in! The kids are really starting to learn the way around the Bible more too which is an amazing bonus because at their ages (6, 8, 10) I had no idea where any books were! Love growing with them!

It really sinks in

My children, 10, 8, and 4 are really learning a lot from this study. They quickly realized how their anger and actions were affecting each other. This study gave them knowledge to be able to understand and problem solve how to control their anger. This is a wonderful resource!

Excellent

This has been one of my favorites next to my brother's keeper. I did this study with my 10 year old who everyone in our family knows has a temper and pur 13 yr old who is more mild. We learned that one explodes and the one who thought he didn't need this study is a bottle up temperament. It really helped open our eyes to each others temperament and what we can work on doing instead. We are still a work in progress and will probably revisit this study again sometime.

Great for parents too!

Just finishing up this study with my 4 kids age 6-12. We do it together as a group. We have had great conversation, and have been able to identify anger in many different areas of our lives. It has been great for my kids with different personalities to realize if they are prone to stuffing anger or blowing up. Just the right amount of scripture and conversation for their attention spans. This study has been great for me as well, I have had moments of conviction and repentance with this study. Has practical application at the end of the study to work on controlling angry emotions- I am thankful Kim directs us to the real answer, the Holy Spirit and walking in the Lords ways! We will probably go through it again at some point! Thanks!

Loving this.

I bought this first for myself to go through. I find that I at times can "blow up" and am trying to find more peace for myself and my kids. I like the parent challenges and everything is so beautifully made! A wonderful resource!

Love the Stickers!

The Pre-K version is simple yet engaging for my youngest child. She loves applying the stickers, and her older siblings were actually a little jealous that her book used stickers as part of the lesson!
