Making Lemonade Bible Study (Digital)

If God is good and in control, how could He let this happen to me? Unfortunately, this is a question all of us will face at one point in our lives, and kids are no exception. They experience the same hard and difficult things adults do, but they don't have the strong biblical foundation needed to truly deal with them.

Making Lemonade is our Bible study designed to help kids trust God through the struggles of life. Whether it's illness, the loss of a loved one, or a big life change, this study will show your kids how to trust God, and show them that truth will triumph over emotion every time!  This Bible Study:

  • Offers help based on God's truth
  • Teaches kids that they can trust God's work in their lives
  • Helps parents guide their kids through difficult times by dealing with emotions and learning to trust God's truth

We can't shield our kids from every hardship in life, but we can give them the tools to work through them. Grab your copy of Making Lemonade, and help lay that truth-filled foundation in your kids' lives today!

Due to the extensive use of the "fun pack" stickers in the Pre-K Bible study, it is NOT available in digital format. We recommend you use the Primary level with this age group or purchase the softcover version.

Nothing will be mailed to you as this is a digital product. The Bible study fun pack does NOT come with the digital files. You can print off the file and staple it together. We like to use fun duct tape to secure the staples and keep them from poking.

This Bible study is available in 5 age levels. If you'd like a softcover version click here.

FAQ

I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.

I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word.

If you are buying digital, you may make as many copies for your own family as needed. It is intended for single-family use only. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on our digital site license page.

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

Solid Biblical teaching

This study has been a timely encouragement for our family as we grieve the loss of an extended family member and face the difficulties and limitations of chronic illness. The solid biblical teaching is helping us give our kids the foundation they need to continue learning to trust God more fully in the hard times.
