Adoration at the Manger: A Christmas Hymn Study (Digital)

We sing the same Christmas carols every year, but when was the last time you stopped to consider their deep, spiritual meaning? How can our kids understand the true meaning of Christmas if they don't even know what they're singing?

In Adoration at the Manger, we show how Christmas carols were written to tell the story of Jesus coming to earth as our Savior. This is the real reason we celebrate this joyous holiday. By looking at both God's Word and classic Christmas hymns, this Christmas Bible study explains the true meaning of Christmas in a meaningful, memorable way!

Hymns included in this study are:

  • O Come, All Ye Faithful
  • O Come, O Come, Emmanuel
  • O Little Town of Bethlehem
  • While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks
  • What Child Is This
  • In The Bleak Mid-Winter
  • Joy To The World

Celebrate Jesus together as a family this Christmas season with our beautifully crafted Christmas hymn study, and refocus your holiday on what really matters!

Due to the extensive use of the "fun pack" stickers in the Pre-K Bible study, it is NOT available in digital format. We recommend you use the Primary level with this age group or purchase the softcover version.

Nothing will be mailed to you as this is a digital product. The Bible study fun pack does NOT come with the digital files. You can print off the file and staple it together. We like to use fun duct tape to secure the staples and keep them from poking.

This Bible study is available in 5 age levels. If you'd like a softcover version click here.

FAQ

I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.

I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word.

If you are buying digital, you may make as many copies for your own family as needed. It is intended for single-family use only. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on our digital site license page.

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

Love this Idea

I purchased the Adoration at the Manger Bible Study to convert it into our churches Christmas program this year. I can't wait to study it with my family this Christmas season. Our Christmas program script is so cute with this message and the songs!
