2023 Redesign, PreK age level added!
Do you find your kids complaining a lot? Or maybe they tend to speak carelessly, or even say unkind or mean things? They may know that their tongue is out of control, but they don't understand the importance of taming it.
Our Fruit of the Tongue Bible study is designed to help guide kids to an understanding that their words matter–to God and to everyone around them. While looking at Scripture, this study will:
Why you'll love this Bible study
Our Bible studies are available in 5 age levels that work together perfectly for family study. Each lesson has a consistent key truth, key Scripture, and central theme, no matter what age level your kids are working in.
Each study also comes with an age-appropriate fun pack that includes challenge cards, stickers and a bookmark.
Help the Bible come to life for your kids through award-winning audio dramas. Fruit of the Tongue Bible study bundle makes an excellent faith-filled gift as it encourages spiritual growth through engaging Bible study, exciting audio drama, and daily truth reminders (that just so happen to look pretty cool).
These CDs are supplemental and can be used before, during, or after your study. You decide!
Kilimanjaro (all ages)
The whole family will love going on a musical adventure with Patch the Pirate and his crew as they take Professor Rocky Feller to the continent of Africa to search for King Solomon's throne. Along the way, you'll learn the real problem with words. Your family will love listening to this musical audio drama before, during, or after you complete the Bible study. It's sure to spark good conversations about how to watch what you say.
Frozen Fire (ages 8+)
You are about to become acquainted with a young girl who changed the world! Facing myriad trials, including abandonment and the death-grip of a terrifying blizzard, Betty learns the power of words in a captivating way. You will fall in love with Betty, whose loyalty is demonstrated through tremendous courage and sacrifice.
Whether you use it before, after, or during the study, it's sure to spark great conversations about the power of the words we speak.
What version of the Bible do you use?
I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.
What do you believe?
I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.
What age level should I buy?
This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please
check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!
How many copies should I buy?
If you are buying digital, you only need one copy. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.) you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on each product's page.
If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word. Please check out this video for more explanation on why this is so important!
How long are your studies?
Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.
Studies with 20 lessons:

I have children ranging from 10 to 19. We thoroughly enjoy our discussions and have been encouraged to grow further in our faith.
This is such a great study for EVERYONE! I wish I could just hand these out because I think all people could benefit from it. Thank you!
I bought the study for my youngest daughter and she loves it! We go over the day and she gets to learn about the fruit that we produce and how it looks and affects others.
We are a few days into this study and I am loving it! Not only that, but my kids are loving it too. We have learned so much already and I'm excited to see where it goes.
We're about halfway through, my kids are really enjoying it. They are 6 and 7, and the material is very age appropriate, well laid out. Easy to teach. We have already ordered more studies and are excited to start those after thumbing through. I am pleased to have found not consumed 🙌 ; definitely recommend!
This was a fantastic study that checked my heart just as much, if not more. Definitely one we will do again!
Even though we'll just be starting week 3, it's been easy to get through the studies, and very applicable for our Youth Group! We normally let our group pick a monthly theme, and this works for so many and has encouraged them to come up with other ideas as well! Thanks for such a great resource/tool!
This study is great! Really helps teach to watch what comes out of your mouth!! Is it necessary!? Is it kind? Is it true? My children have learned so much goodness and love with this study!! It's easy daily lessons!! The advocado pen is really fun to go with it!! My children enjoy the stickers and the fun pen!!!
This study has been such a blessing to me. Unfortunately I can't share doing this with my kids, so I am doing it by myself. However, this study has been quite resourceful to me, and I stumbled on it just at the right time.
