Fear Not: A Bible Study on Quieting Fear and Anxiety with God’s Truth

We all deal with fear—fear of the unknown, of the darkness, of being alone, or even fear of failure in what we've worked so hard for. Whether it's the fear that turns our stomachs, steals our sleep, or paralyzes us so we can't function, fighting this battle is never easy. Your biggest fear may be for your kids as you see them struggle with fear and anxiety themselves. We don't want fear to control our kids, yet we don't know how to help them overcome the same kinds of worries and fears we struggle with ourselves.

Just as with every other struggle we face, fear and anxiety can only be overcome through the power of our God. Fear Not is a 4-week Bible study on fear and anxiety that will show your kids how God's truth quiets these enemies. As your kids work through this study, they will see how they can have victory in Christ despite the attacks of fear. When they are armed with God's truth and strength, fear has no control over them!

FAQ

I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.

I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word.

If you are buying digital, you may make as many copies for your own family as needed. It is intended for single-family use only. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on our digital site license page.

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

Fantastic!

I absolutely love this study! I have been doing this with my 11 year old son who has been crippled by fears over the years. I have seen God working in him through this study and has been able to work through fears and have had healthier view on them. I also love this study because it is just the right length. Each day only has 2 pages and takes about 10 min for us to work through it together. It also is 20 days, not too long and not too short. I feel it is the perfect length to develop change of mindsets. Thank you for creating these studies!
