Uncovering Mercies at the Cross Bible Study

Easter is a time of celebration focusing on the death and resurrection of Jesus, but many of our kids don't understand just how important these events are. Without Jesus' sinless life, death to pay for our sin, and resurrection to show His power over death, we would still be lost in our sin. So how can we help our kids grasp these essential truths?

Uncovering Mercies at the Cross takes care of this! In our 20-day Easter Bible study, we look at the mercy Jesus showed in His life, death, and resurrection, emphasizing the life-changing truth of what He accomplished on the cross. This personal study will help your kids:

  • learn what Easter is and why we celebrate it.
  • discover God's mercy woven through the greatest story ever told.
  • grow in their ability to communicate the gospel to others.

Get your study today and lead your kids in uncovering the mercy of God found at the cross!

FAQ

I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.

I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word.

If you are buying digital, you may make as many copies for your own family as needed. It is intended for single-family use only. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on our digital site license page.

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

This is probably one of the best studies I have done with my girl! We had both a primary and PreK study. We were able to do it together and learn the mercies given to us! I highly recommend this study!

Family fave

We needed something simple yet biblical to help our 3 and 5 year olds understand the true meaning of Easter! We enjoyed doing them everyday and reviewing /pondering on great questions with dad after dinner to drive the truth home! By Easter Sunday my 5 year old was defending the gospel against any allegations of the Easter bunny being the center of Easter. so grateful!

Not just an Easter bible study!!

This is our family's first Bible study from the not consumed series of studies. We absolutely loved this! It brought my 18 yr old and my 13 yr old together, and by the end of this study at church they both got saved!! Praise God 🙌 We can't say enough great things about this study!! You have to try it for yourself to see how truly wonderful it really is!!
