Keep Thy Heart Bible Study

Keep Thy Heart Bible Study

2023 Redesign, PreK and Primary age levels added!

Anger. Pride. Despair. Our kids are facing all kinds of enemies, and often are ill-equipped to guard against them. Rather than reactively deal with the fruit of these unchecked heart issues, it's important that kids know how to proactively guard their hearts from those enemies ever taking root.

In the Keep Thy Heart Bible Study, your kids will learn how dangerous sin is and how to guard their heart from its influences. While looking at Scripture, your kids will:

  • See how their actions are directly related to the state of their heart
  • Realize how important it is to keep their heart protected
  • Learn about 9 enemies of their heart and how to guard against them
  • Rely on Jesus to change and protect their hearts

Order your study today and help your kids stop sin before it grows!

FAQ

I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.

I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word.

If you are buying digital, you may make as many copies for your own family as needed. It is intended for single-family use only. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.), you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on our digital site license page.

Each Bible study is a slightly different length, ranging from 20 lessons to 28 lessons. We suggest doing one lesson a day. Most kids find that it takes about 15 minutes a day.

Looks fantastic

I purchased this study to do with my 5y old as part of my homeschool learning but this would make a great Bible study for any family! We haven't started it yet but I looked through it and I can't wait to begin. The lessons have a good layout that's more in depth topical study as oppse to just a Bible story with few qhestions. There are verses to read and places for drawings for little ones who aren't ready to write yet, I know she'll absolutely love the stickers. I also love the action cards that challenge the child to do a topical thing each week, it would help her to put in practice what we learn and I think I'll be re-learning Bible truths alongside her also. It's fantastic, thank you Not consumed ministries!

About your heart attitude

Teaching kids that they choose their heart attitude and how to keep their hearts pure. I love that Proverbs 3:5 is one of the key verses.

Incredible devotional for my daughter and me.

This devotional was the first one my 10-year-old daughter and I have ever done. We joined a mother/daughter bible study with our church using this devotional and it has been so rewarding. She really leaned in and loved doing it and we had so much fun talking about our hearts and God's plan for us.

Impactful for parents too!

We got this for our 7 year old to start devotions on this own, but also got the parent guide to discuss together. It has made an impact on me as much as my child! I am so thankful for the notes in the parent guide to help lead the discussion in our morning family time. It has been a great help when guiding my child through the devotional. So grateful to have found this and how it has helped our family put God and His Word first!
