Foundations of Faith: What We Believe and Why

The Bible calls us to teach our children diligently and you're certainly trying. But in the wake of disappointing court rulings and scandalous baby killing videos, the question must be asked: Do my kids REALLY know what I believe?

I found myself wondering the same thing after my daughter asked me a question I surely thought she knew the answer to. That day everything changed. I knew I had to give my kids the tools they need to stand strong and defend their faith. If I didn't, I'd find them eating out of the hands of wolves.

This study will help your family develop a statement of faith on crucial topics before it's too late. Let me make the process easy-peasy for you to start!

Foundations of Faith is a study like no other. The goal is simple: to help your family talk about tough issues and develop a statement of faith that will be a keepsake and teaching tool for years to come. The study starts with a 7-lesson Bible study of the basics of the Christian faith to complete as a family.

Section two digs deep into each issue with a list of Scripture to ponder, helpful resources, and questions to ask as a family. Space to record your family’s statement of faith regarding that issue is included as well.

If desired, consider having your children write statements of faith in a notebook or have younger ones draw pictures to remember your discussions.

Also included are 3 fabulous bonus pages: Subway art printable, media labels, and a media checklist.

Rest assured, you are not told what to think about these very important issues but are provided with Scripture, additional reading, and thoughtful questions to ponder as you consider each of the issues at hand. It's very important that families consider the facts as they develop their statement of faith.
