My family and I did this as our family devotion study. We loved how personal and applicable the study was to everyday life. I love how Kim gives great examples and scriptures that point us to Christ.
My daughter is on Day 4 and this is working great for her. She's really enjoying doing it on her own and it's brought lots of great discussions. Thank you!
This has been a wonderful little study to do with my teenage daughters. It’s not all that deep but it has been a great jumping off point that leads to meaningful discussions, which I really appreciate. Well worth purchasing.
My 6 YO son has enjoyed this study so much! I think he is understanding the concepts of putting on the armor of God and fighting the devil in our everyday lives. He brought it up randomly this morning in the car, saying that God doesn't want us to do the things the world wants us to do. Thanks for putting this together!
We have completed A Content Heart and this is our second Not Consumed study. I look forward to getting other titles as well.
This study is perfect for my 7 year old. It's written in a way she can understand and relate to the material. She loves drawing her response and decorating with the stickers provided. The prayer prompt at the end is fabulous as well. It helps me hear her heart as she prays.
I bought both the youth and junior versions of this Bible study. Both of my boys have enjoyed it! It’s been fun to do together and sometimes they do on their own :)
I bought several books to use as devotionals here and ended up starting with this one. I thought it would be mostly review material with my son because we have done a lot of Bible reading and discussion, but this book was so much more. It had him engaging through pictures and words, writing and drawing his own responses, and requiring him to think about the Bible readings and lessons in different ways than we had done together. I really appreciated it and look forward to using the other books that we bought.
This is my fourth bible study I’ve used in our homeschool. It is by far my favorite one. It’s easy to understand and both my girls enjoyed it.
This is our first study from Kim. My friend brings her children over each Tuesday after school and our kids go through it together with us. It has been wonderful and not only for the kids but also for my friend and I as well. It is engaging and very appropriate for their age levels. They are two first graders and 1 4th grader
