Giant Killer (ages 8+)
The battle continues to rage, moment by moment and day by day. But must we meet the enemy blindfolded? In order to conquer, we must face the enemy; to crush opposition, we must see the real foe. Through this allegorical tale, we’ll be better equipped to recognize and slay the Giants who confront us. We’ll break through the web of Sloth, climb out of the pit of Selfishness, choke up the fount of Anger, flee the lurking-place of Untruth, and triumph over our enemy, Pride.
Whether you use it before, after, or during the study, it's sure to spark great conversations about guarding your heart and what you need to protect yourself from.
Ocean Commotion (all ages)
The whole family will love going on a musical adventure with Patch the Pirate and his crew. As they seek shelter from a terrible storm they discover a village of shaky shacks in the ocean and try to warn the citizens who have been under false teaching and don't realize they are in danger. Will they learn the truth they need to protect their hearts?
Your family will love listening to this musical audio drama before, during, or after you complete the Bible study. It's sure to spark good conversations about guarding your heart.
What version of the Bible do you use?
I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, my studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations. So you should be able to use whatever version your family prefers. It's my passion to see kids opening the Bible themselves, so we've been very intentional about this.
What do you believe?
I believe that the Bible is the absolute authority in matters of faith and practice. It's 100% true, with no exceptions or figurative sections. I believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of Scripture; in one God eternally existing in three Persons; in the creation of all things, including man, as the direct act of God; in eternally secure salvation by grace through faith in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; in the incarnation and virgin birth of Christ, and in His bodily resurrection; in the personal, bodily, premillennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ and His millennial reign on earth.
What age level should I buy?
This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the differences between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!
How many copies should I buy?
If you are buying digital, you only need one copy. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc.) you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on each product's page.
If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book, as it is designed to record their drawings and responses to the Word. Please check out this video for more explanation on why this is so important!
How long are your studies?
