About our products

This is by far the most common question we get around here. Please check out this video. I'll show you the difference between the levels and walk you through how to use them as a family!

The choice is really up to you. Both have advantages. Digital can be used for multiple children and is not consumable. BUT- you do have to print it, which can be costly. Softcover will be mailed to your home and is already done for you. Easy peasy. We do our best to beat the prices of sending it to the copy store yourself!

Please note: our Bible studies and books are more like notebooks and made to be written in, so it's best to have one copy for each child.

If you are buying digital, you only need one copy. If you plan to share with people outside of your home (like a group, co-op, church, etc) you will need a site license to do so. Those can be found on each product's page.

If you are buying softcover, you should purchase one copy per child. This will enable children to write in the book as it is designed to recording their drawings and responses to the Word. Please check out this video for more explanation on why this is so important!

Our goal is to get kids in the BIBLE themselves, so you won't find Scripture written out in the study, only references to look up. You may use the translation your family prefers.

I study and write using the KJV and ESV Bibles. However, again the studies are written with the intent that children and families will look up Scripture in the Bible of their choice, with specific attention taken to assure questions can be answered from a variety of translations.

You can read our full statement of faith and company mission here.

We strongly encourage you to do that before making a purchase of ANYTHING teaching your kids, from homeschool materials to Bible studies. Everything has a worldview that is being imparted to its audience!

About Downloads

Your download links are provided right on the checkout page. If you missed them, don't worry. We will send them via email as well. You may also find them in your account.

Simply click on the link and your download will start. Depending on the type of computer, your file may go into your downloads folder or onto the bar at the bottom of your web browser.

Note that mobile devices and tablets often don't have the capability of handing larger files with beautiful graphics, like ours. It's best to open these links on your computer.

If you click or tap on a link that is a zip file, the file should download automatically to your computer. A browser window or tab might also open, but you can ignore this; just close that tab. Find where the zip file was downloaded. Many computers automatically save files to a “Downloads” directory or on the desktop. If you can’t find the file, go to your computer’s search feature and search for the file by name. Once you know where the zip file is located, follow the instructions below to “unzip” the file (based on your operating system):

Windows 8 and 8.1

Mac OS

Every product has copyright protection, just like physical books, and is designed for use within your family only. If you would like your friends to know about it (and I hope you do), share a link to the page so they can come and check it out themselves! If you are looking to use materials for a church group or homeschool co-op, you will need a site license to make copies.

It's likely that your download won't open on a mobile device or tablet because our file sizes are large. Try again on a computer.

For printing, we highly recommend opening the file in Adobe reader. This always presents the best results. Again, mobile devices probably won't work.

Not Consumed is a family-centered business, which means we are striving to keep our priorities straight while knocking your socks off with the best customer service available. We usually answer emails within 24 hours during the week and 48 hours during weekends and holidays.
